Ulta Beauty — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

I had THE most amazing experience doing my Black Friday shopping here, thanks to Kristen. Desi and Dannie are equally fabulous. They all have solid product knowledge and aim to help you get what you need, not just sell you something, which was my unfortunate experience in the Garden City location.

Desi helped me with several purchases and explained in detail about which product was a better fit for my gift giving needs.

Dannie, who looks like a rock star, was kind enough to make samples of the Clinique skincare as well as a list of what they are. I really appreciate that so much.

Kristen truly went above and beyond to help me select the right fragrance and skincare for some younger family members. As busy as the store was, she took the time to help me with all of my shopping needs for myself and for the gifts I needed. It is nice to feel valued as a customer in a store where I spend a considerable amount of money. Other locations are not as considerate. This review is regarding my experience shopping at the Ulta store in Syosset. I was searching for the new hair steamer created by the "Pattern" brand. I called the Ulta store and was informed by Chantal that they had the item in stock and that she would put it on hold for me. When I walked into the store I overheard her speaking with her colleagues, discussing why this product was created, who it was created for, the benefits of hair steaming for people with textured hair. Went in looking for some common products that weren’t stocked on the shelf and the guy at the register told me they probably didn’t have any more. Teresa (blonde) from the beauty bar saw me looking around and asked if I needed help and she found two products that’s weren’t on the shelf in the draws that I was looking for.
