I was shocked at how rude the two guys were. I called earlier today just to ask what their process is for buying things from customers and the guy who answered the phone responded with “what do you mean our “process”? Just bring it in..?” So I clarified that I just wanted to know if I had to make an appt (since I’ve never sold at a pawn shop before) but either way, I still decided to go in tonight. As soon as I walked in, the guys abruptly just said “hi, what do you need?” I mentioned I had a 1991 timeworks NY Yankees wall clock - and the one guy was like..”?? A clock..?? What am I going to do with that?” And so I just stated that I wanted to see if they were interested. I then handed him the clock and he looked at it, and said “I’m a die hard Yankees fan, and even I would NEVER think of hanging this in my house…” and then the other guy chuckled, shook his head, and rolled his eyes. I was baffled at the lack of customer service. I really didn’t look up the clock, I don’t know much about sports memorabilia , and really just wanted to see what they thought - and I really was going to take literally any offer they gave me - even if it was $3. Bc I just wanted to get rid of it. But then he showed me it’s only on eBay for like $14 - again - I had no idea nor was I expecting any number in particular - they’re the professionals so I was going to them to see. so he asked me what I even wanted if it’s only for $14 on eBay - he can’t even sell it. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there - I felt so uncomfortable. So I didn’t even say that I’d take anything because at that point, I just wanted to leave. They made it seem like I handed them a bag of dog poop and asked them what it was worth - I was appalled by the lack customer service. I am an extremely patient person and tried to keep my composure the whole time - but at the end I just grabbed the clock and...

I meant to do this a long time ago. I was going through well actually I’m still going through a tough time and Anthony was fair with his price. He did more for me that day. I usually go someplace else because of loyalty and all but the place I usually go suggested to try here. The guy didn’t want what I had. I gave a price and he was talking to my son. Keep in mind he didn’t want what I had. Do you know this man had my son pick out a antique Hess truck which made his whole day and not only was he so kind to my son who is also named Anthony but he gave me twenty more than I asked for. And he didn’t even want it to begin with. Sir I won’t easily forget that and neither will my son that’s for sure. I always call first to find out the hours and when i do go to sell an item they are very good to me and take the time out to check for me and give a fair price. Ive been buying and selling things for a long time just because you paid a grand for a laptop doesnt mean thats what they are going to get and you sure are not getting a grand back for it unless u hold on to it and sell it to a private buyer....
