I went to this DXL for the second time this year. I want to state as a queer person who never has owned a suit and wanted to try on dress pants— but the fear of whether or not the person working would be homophobic or not. Patrick was outstanding and absolutely amazing! First, he didn’t pressure me when I walked in but checked in and made sure I was okay. That was the first sign of a welcoming space. Secondly, he came over after helping someone to help me find the best dress pants for my wedding in October. This was the best experience I could ask for. I was not greeted when I came into the store as the employees were busy complaining about how "dead" it was. I wandered around the store for about 25 minutes or so picking up items waiting for someone to ask if I was l ooking for anything in particular; Nothing. Two other customers came in and were promptly greeted. Astonished I kept shopping . I even called another dxl store to inquier about my size profile. I was nearly done before I realized that I had over $400 worth of merch that would have provided comission to a sales department that didn't help me.
