The Suffolk — Attraction in Town of Riverhead

I went to the steel city studs male review show this past Saturday here at the Suffolk theater, and felt inspired to leave a review and some of my thoughts. First of all the venue is very large and elegantly styled. Cover charge for the show was more than worth the value of the entertainment of the night. Food and drinks were generally above-average however they were on the pricey side. Having never been to a male review show me and my girlfriends did not know what to expect but can honestly say it exceeded any ideas we had and was a great time. Without giving away too many specifics especially for those who have not yet seen the show ( but hopefully will in the future), it was styled in a way that there were choreographed acts and dancing, mixed with just the right amount of personal attention from the dancers throughout the crowd. There were specialty dances performed for those wishing to be more involved in the act, or for a friend who needed a great time and really enhanced the show itself. The dancers were obviously well trained in great shape and also a mix of sizes and backgrounds. Anyone looking at their webpage for the advertisements definitely will agree that the quality of the dancers is second to none. All the performers were available afterwords for pictures in groups or solo if preferred. Me and my group had a blast and would definitely go again. Each show we have attended there has been very nice. Last night's show was fantastic!!!! Justin Shandor did a beautiful tribute to Elvis, as well as to our country! My family and I loved every minute of it. The theater itself is beautiful. The atmosphere is great! So, why only give it a rating of a 3? Every part of the food experience, (except for our kind waiter), was AWFUL. The wait staff stood in front of us s for much of the show. They need to learn to bend down when taking orders. They did not even attempt to get out of the viewers' way, when they took orders, brought food, or collected money. They need to be taught how to be a server at a show. I wonder what great things were missed by being blocked. Seven dollars is a ridiculous price to charge for a small pretzle. The "steak" sandwich was not streak at all . It was sliced roast beef. It was too disgusting to even look at. To be kind my husband traded his chicken sandwich with me so I could have something to eat. The chicken in the sandwich is barely enough to feed a small child . Though it was edible, it was not nearly worth the price charged. The quality was poor to fair, and the flavor was bland. I ate it because I had nothing else to eat. We will absolutely go back for a show, however, we will NEVER eat a meal there again, unless we are told there were some...

I don't know where to begin to describe how absolutely beautiful my daughter's wedding was. It was everything she had hoped for x 100. From the moment my daughter Sam saw the venue she knew it was what she wanted, but nothing could prepare her for the way it actually turned out, breathtaking. Kristen is an amazing person. She is super organized, super professional and does not miss ONE beat. She is the conductor in the symphony. With her you do not need to worry about anything. She listens to everything you say and will create the magic you dream of and then some. We will be forever grateful to her and the staff for their dedication and hard work. We miss her already! Jamie and his production team are top notch and can handle anything you ask. The bartenders and wait staff are fantastic! They were extremely attentive to everyone. Special note about Jennifer, she was an absolute love, super sweet, kind, attentive, all around just Great. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food (thank you Noah!!!!), the drinks, the staff, the service, the venue....My baby girl's wedding was beyond INCREDIBLE thanks to this wonderful team of great people.
