The water is definitely a little choppy for swimming (at least the day we were there), so keep that in mind. This isn’t a beach, but the grass area is perfect for picnic blankets and beach bags. Nice little veteran memorial park and garden area with a fountain as well. Staff was friendly. Note that the public restrooms are not in the park itself, but down the street. Read moreSmall but well kept park right on the lakefront of beautiful Skaneateles Lake. This is one of the few spots to really enjoy being on the lake as most of Skaneateles is privately owned. Thayer park is nearby - take a walk through the village and you'll come to that one on the other side of the last buildings.
