We had a fabulous visit! What a gem this museum is. The history of Skaneateles as displayed was wonderful and we loved the sailing displays. I grew up sailing and racing Rhodes Bantam and Lightening class sailboats on Skaneateles Lake. I so wish we had kept our boats! The collection would be complete if you had a yellow Optimist Pram named Flower Power in the exhibit. My baby! The gift shop is also fun with some beautiful prints, books and gifts. Highly recommend a visit!

Really awesome local historical society and museum. They have a beautiful building that is so light and open and they have some excellent displays. The staff and volunteers were very welcoming and helpful! A great stop while visiting Skaneateles on a Friday or Saturday.

Amazing visit and the Lisa who gave us a guided tour was amazing very knowledgeable and friendly. Both ladies made our visit to skaneatles historical society enjoyable great chat about the town and the finger lakes etc.
