Harbor Freight — Attraction in Town of Watertown

This place had great prices and typically everything I need, as long as I'm not looking to buy something I'm going to use all day everyday and sometimes even if I am. For the price you simply can't get better deals. And the customer service is soooooo good, like after the third person asked if they could help I was like "yeah that first guy helped me" which he did help me find some hex wrenches to fix my knife he was a great dude but then they kept being so helpful in every single isle smiling and waving and I was thinking these people are kinda weird I'm not that pretty of a guy that I'd expect people to wanna look at me like that but they did I guess so I was like "you know what? I think I could use some tape too." But was also like "I feel like this lady with a clipboard is looking at my package or something kinda cool if I could look at this tape without being looked at like a piece of meat" so I kinda did a spin move around the pressure washers over by the drills turned twords the back and there that sander was in my way . . Stiffarm that guy like it was a 3 lb hand tool or something and there I was turning down the aisle thinking I would be there with a chance to look at the tape without being objectified by this woman with a clipboard when bam there she was I was like "dang woman is good" so I just gave up and went to check out with no tape I don't know if I'd want my employees doing this if it were my store but that lady had some good "d" which should be commended stopped me from getting my cheap tape had to go to Walmart to buy the good stuff, looking out for my well...

Well, honestly at the moment I wanna give less than 2 stars. However, it wouldn't be fair to the entire store being as that it's one cashier that's unbearable. Everyone I've ever encountered working here is always fantastic, friendly, helpful, knowledgable and just good at making this location a nice environment. However, I've gone in multiple times and a cashier here is the worst I've ever seen. So beyond rude, not ever to me, but I've been in line and witnessed how she has treated other customers; sickening. It's to the point where if she is working I'll just walk out and not purchase anything. However I do wanna state that the rest of the store staff is incredible. Just unfortunate to see they have someone who is just so unprofessional. I will continue to stop here, however, if she is there and I really need something I will go over to lowes and spend more money. Sometimes value just isn't enough to beat...

This is a relatively small standalone location for Harbor Freight. That's a bit surprising given that there are only TWO Harbor Freight stores in the entire state of Vermont as I write this review. Road access is also inconvenient at this location. There are two lanes of traffic in each direction and a center divider Is directly in front of the store. So in order to access the store and all likelihood you will need to make a U-turn at a traffic light. That's fine unless you're towing a trailer and how many people go to harbor freight in the construction field with a trailer in tow? Small space means limited inventory and that was the case when I visited this location. They did not have any of the items I was looking...
