This supercuts location gave me the most earth-shattering life-altering haircut ever and I'm barely exaggerating. I didn't want to leave a review right after my cut because I figured it would even out, I would get used to it, it was initial shock, etc. But, now it has been 4 months and I can confidently and calmly say that I was given a flat out horrific haircut. The hairstylist was excited to "play with" my curly hair. Her excitement must have taken over, because she cut off about 4 inches more than my "just a minor trim" request. After the cut was over, she spun me around to face the mirror, and informed me that she had "given me layers" and "rounded out the front." These "layers" (VERY much not asked for) were literally unlike anything I have ever seen. Four months later, and my hair is still 5 inches shorter in the front pieces than the entire back. My hairstyle options are so extremely limited that I have resorted to straightening it every week to avoid revealing my completely botched hair. Given, part of the blame may be on me for deciding to trust SUPERCUTS, of all places, on my hair. But, when a client comes in, I think it is standard practice to give them what they ASK FOR, and not add SURPRISE layers. Unless you are going in for a buzz cut, I beg of you to take your business elsewhere, for your own good. If you can afford to go somewhere slightly higher end please do so, and if you cannot, ask a five year old to cut your hair with craft scissors. You'll...
Read moreIt was more important to sit in their chairs chatting and scrolling through cell phones, than it was to cut my son’s hair...I scheduled an appointment to have my 4 year old son’s hair cut at 3:30pm today with a certain stylist (not mentioning her name here). When I arrived with my son for the scheduled appointment, I was told that it would be just a moment while she finished sweeping up the area around her chair...(There were 3 stylists on, only 1 customer who was already getting a haircut and no one waiting. So they were not at all busy.). A couple minutes later, while patiently waiting, I noticed that the stylist that I had scheduled with and another were both sitting in their chairs chatting away with one another with cellphones in hand scrolling through them. I waited patiently a bit longer, and they both, still just sat there, in their chairs, chatting away and scrolling through their cell phones. I had been waiting patiently with my son for over 10 minutes past the time of my scheduled appointment at that point. At close to 3:45pm when another customer came in, one of the girls looked up from her cellphone, got up from her chair, took the customers name, and then proceeded to take the individual back for a haircut...At that point, I got up, told them that I was leaving and walked out...
Read moreThis was my first time going to Supercuts in Wilton and I had a horrible experience. I asked for a full head of highlights. The stylist was new but I wanted to give her a chance so I let her do it. When she started taking the foils out, I noticed that she did not put the bleach all the way to my root. Then the manager came over to fix it and still the highlights looked horrible. Also some spots were processed for three hours and other spots still were not up to my root. I was there for a total of four hours which is completely ridiculous. I just wanted to leave at that point so I didn’t argue with the girls. I called a couple days later because I felt so bad about myself and the only solution they will offer me is to come back and redo it. Obviously, I don’t feel comfortable with that, especially since the manager already tried to fix it. I’m so disappointed. Definitely...
