Not sure how one responds to horrible unprofessional staff who doesn't help their customers at all. But the whole staff here just sits there and points at isles and never walks you to them and help you find items you can't find. And just look at eachother expecting another staff member to know and all the staff members just do the same thing, deadpanned. I don't even know if there is a manager here. If that's the manager in the front he’s pretty bad and should consider being replaced. Both of the adults in the front actually. The younger girl stocking, probably doesn’t know much. I can’t blame her. There was 3 of them total on this Saturday night at 6:30pm. This establishment needs a staff revamping. It's not too good. I wouldn’t encourage coming here. A bunch of zombies! Sorry for the vent. Just future reference. Not a good experience at all. Took me 30 minutes to get two items cause the staff was...
Read moreI used to shop here on occasion until I was treated very rudely and unprofessionally by a clerk/on-duty manager. Had some groceries and a six pack of beer. As is the norm in a big chain, I was asked for my ID. No biggie. She looks at it, hands it back, and then comes back in a minute to look again. I had inadvertently let my driver license expire (by about a week). Apparently, they wouldn't sell, even though the license is clearly mine and I'm almost 40 years old. Even if it is policy, the way it was handled was rude and impersonal. I let her know I wouldn't be shopping there again. I give this place 3 stars for their Michigan beer selection and overall cleanliness. Even though it's on the outskirts of Traverse City, people around here should be friendlier in...
Read moreMan I really want this place to be a good go to. I'm not talking Trader Joe's or anything. How about a butcher shop that does more than Ribeye, NY, Top Round and Ground Beef with prefabricated meatballs and other various thaw and sell retail items. London Broil, Flank Steak...I'm not pushing the envelope here. If you need basic grocery and a small selection of organics it fits the bill. Grab and Go seems to have been picked up a little. Produce is pretty basic and conventional. Grocery has all the usual suspects and plenty of gluten free grocery items, but don't look for too much more. It's basic, convenient but...
