Old Town Playhouse — Attraction in Traverse City

Coming from a big city we had our expectations about local play houses. Well, we went to see the play "Elf" and as a parent I was not thrilled with several of the words and phrases that were written into the script. Had I known beforehand I would not have taken my children to see what I thought was a family play. The facility itself was fine, and is even handicap accessible, BUT beware that the handicap parking fills up fast. The Old Town Playhouse has been such a blessing for my son to find! He has taken classes and earned his way into the bigger plays also! This has given him the opportunity to do what he loves and develop his skills to chase his dreams!

They are a pleasure to work with and the venue is an amazing place to see performances. They always do such a great job with the sets, character development and even sometimes having a live band playing the music...

We saw Cinderella, the musical. It took me right back to when I was a little girl watching the movie. The prince, Cinderella, and the fairy Godmother had gorgeous voices.
