Oviatt House Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Traverse City

My husband and I spent a weekend at the Oviatt House. It was our first experience staying at a B&B, and it went way above and beyond our expectations! ||||The room, our attached bathroom, and common area were extremely clean and neat. Especially during a time of Covid, we were paying extra attention to cleanliness and it was wonderful and felt very safe! Everyone was also required to wear masks in the common area, which we appreciated.||||The location is perfect! It was a short 5 minute walk to Downtown, which made it so nice when grabbing dinner or looking at the shops.||||The breakfast was incredible!!! I consider myself a picky eater, and both mornings my husband and I were treated to a huge spread of delicious, fresh, homemade food! There were also homemade cookies when we checked in, and snacks/drinks available during the day/evening.||||Julia, the inn keeper, is so sweet and personable. We loved chatting with her during breakfast. She offered lots of great places to visit and see around town. Where do I start?! I have to break it up into categories.||•Staff||First of all, Julia was a wonderful and accommodating host. She was quick to respond to emails and calls and was so sweet to us.||•Breakfast||My wife and I are vegan, and Julia was so accommodating! She reached out to make sure she met every single need we had. She even created a menu just for us and the food was THE BEST breakfast I have ever had! I would go here just for breakfast!||•The Rooms||We stayed in the Grose room and it was fantastic. It was incredibly clean and so quaint. This room has a private entrance and that was really nice! To not have to walk through the whole B&B was nice and helped us keep quiet for everyone else around us.||•Location||Oviatt House is the perfect location! It's about half a mile from the heart of downtown Traverse City, and it across the street from a cute breakfast place. The B&B is in the perfect place, not too far from downtown, and just far enough away to be quiet.||Overall, I couldn't recommend Oviatt House more. We will...
