I've been in Traverse City for most of my adult life and been bicycling through and around Clinch Park since 2011. So I have been there before and after the new additions were added. Overall it's kept clean and nice and tidy. It offers a nice little eatery and good views from the downtown area and the surrounding water as well. Great for things like Sunsets and Sun Rises. Also one of the places you can go to view the 4th Of July Fireworks.
There is also a nice little water play place and playground type environment for children of all ages to play. Of course with appropriate supervision that is. A nice place to get a nice quick cool down and things to climb on and all that.

Read moreThis is a very beautifully made beach front park..in that respect it deserves 5 stars. However, we took our 15 month old granddaughter and she had a ball... until she was mowed over and knocked backward by a group of slightly older toddlers/kids. That they had knocked her down. Now, we live in the South, had this happened where we live... EVERYONE within a 100 ft radius would have attended to any hurt or injured child... and apologies would be abundant. Read moreWas so beautiful there but not much parking available for cherry festival. If your a smoker and there's events good luck finding a place to smoke. Very busy but was absolutely beautiful there. Lake was high and felt refreshing just walking by it. Lots to see and do around there if you can fight thru the crowds. I would come back but not for the cherry festival. Not really worth the headache for Jeff Dunham show that was outside on plastic seats with no arm room or leg room. I actually lost my balance and fell on a elderly couple (so embarrassed and felt bad). Paid 170.00 for 2 tickets to get that kind of seating..... was not happy but my husband was good about it and was very happy with Jeff Dunham. If you go good luck. If your just there to enjoy the scenery then...
