I wasn't sure of my seating choice as this was the first time I had been to the venue. You don't know until you try it, right? The actual venue is nice. There were steps to get to the entrance. I'm assuming there was a ramp, but I wasn't looking for one. There are restrooms, either side of the auditorium, and a small cafe. Nice clean place. Seating....we were there for a ballet (which is a whole other conversation). I purchased seats in the first section, front row. Not the section directly in front of the stage with the folding chairs. Honestly, I would have preferred to have been about halfway into the section. We were so close that the lower stage lights were directly in our site line. For someone who is very light sensitive, it wasn't a win for me. As far as general seating, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. It's an intimate venue, which I prefer. As far as the actual show, I think perhaps it could have been vetted a little better, or at least some disclaimers from the dance troupe. This was a ballet. It was lovely to see all the young families and the little girls in their frilly dresses. BUT this was no ballet for little girls. I noticed many people left at intermission. Not just those with children. In my opinion, it should have mentioned 'mature audience ' or 'children over 12'....something to give pause before ordering tickets. Main question....will I return? Sure, I don't see why not. It's a nice venue in the northern market. And thankfully, very...
Read moreI paid a lot of money to come and watch a show. First, it said, doors open at 2 so we arrived in time to be able to come in and find our seats. Someone came in and told us to leave that we were not allowed to sit in there yet and all we were was doing was trying to sit and enjoy ourselves. We wasn't doing anything wrong. Then, the show starts and Someone comes and tells me that I'm not allowed record videos either. The entire time other people were recording videos including the lady right in front of me. None of them were asked not to record so why couldn't I ? It was supposed to be a time for enjoyment because I suffer from depression and have also found out that I'm sick. Instead, it was ruined and we left altogether at intermission. Now, I regret going online to buy tickets for another show next year that are nonrefundable because I definitely would never come back again after the time I...
