Ernst Cafe — Restaurant in Troy

Ernst Cafe serves 3rd wave coffee (currently Pettibone) and has drip, pourover (Poursteady), and various espresso drinks. Coffee is quite good on pourover, and will rotate as needed. I also had a cortado and it was well made. Food is good, though portions are not large. The baristas are helpful and friendly, and there's enough space for larger groups to meet up. There's also outside seating. So good to have this cafe closer...

The Ernst Cafe just opened, and it's already my favorite coffee spot in Troy. The staff are super friendly, and great at making coffee. Their signature drinks are very tasty, and the atmosphere is fantastic. There's a lot of natural light, which makes it a great place to bring things to work on during the day. Plenty of comfy seats available or tables, if you prefer to spread out a bit. I'll definitely be coming...

The barista was very friendly and helpful, and my matcha was delicious! My partner's cappuccino, however, took a hot minute to come out and was Luke warm when it did. It's a big space with cookie cutter seating, which feels more like a business space than a code coffee shop. The windows make it nice and bright though, and the people definitely help warm it up. We will definitely be back...
