Nearly immediately upon entry I was greeted by all of the employees working. Even though they were busy, they still made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Evan assisted me in my shoe selection. I appreciate how extremely pleasant my experience with Evan was. He was very patient, polite, and adamant about getting me into a shoe that I truly loved. He brought me 11 or 12 different pairs of shoes, all with styles and structures to ensure my stability, comfort, and support requirements were met. I walked into the Up and Running Store in Troy( after being a loyal shopper there for 5 years) and was told that they wouldn’t help me . They also said they didn’t carry the Saucony shoes I buy. Last time I checked there was no specific Saucony shoe(s) that I buy. Apparently they discriminate on who they want shopping in their store in Troy especially if you have money to spend there. The woman who waited on me was in her late 20’s/ early 30’s, brown hair, skinny, bad attitude. This was a very bad experience and just cost this Up and Running store several hundred dollars as I won’t be returning there ever again. I would not recommend the Troy Store. Well I went there today 6-13-2020. I was looking to get three or four pair of shoes. Buddy of mine was there the day before so I asked him if he had to wear a mask. He said no but the employees had them. I’m good with that. Supposedly as long as one of has one we are both safe. Well I drove there and was asked to put a mask on!! I said no and left.
