Batteries Plus — Attraction in Trussville

12/6/24-After a very dissappointing and costly experience I do NOT recommend Tville B+ for making your key/fob especially for Mazda. My main issue is that they didn't seem concerned nor care that they were sending a 73 yr old woman on her way without telling me what all they messed up or taking accountability n thinking it's ok if they just refund my deposit that I had paid for ordering fob to do this job. After assuring me they could do this, spending 2+ hours only to find out they did not know how to program the new fob, had never done one for a Mazda and in the process of trying they messed up my original fob n key, messed up the ignition sensor (found this out after leaving) causing other locksmiths NOT to be able to reprogram original fob nor to program an extra. Also learned after leaving, they also messed up some fuses under hood causing other sensors to malfunction (had to take to mechanic to find out problem n correct) then find out Mazda dealer only can possibly fix ignition sensor to fix fob if n when they can get parts for this older model at a cost of possibly in the $1000 range. Needless to say, I will never trust them for anything and I've been a customer for various things since their inception...

Left two reviews and both have been deleted! I brought a phone in to get a new screen and left with a phone that now doesn't work at all. No refund. No fixing it. Just too bad for me. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! $900 phone and $100 "repair". They did nothing to fix the situation! Update Sorry I didn't get to this update sooner, they came off a refurbished phone finally. It worked for about a week. So, no refund, finally gave a refurbished phone and the "new" phone died. I will stick with my original review and say SO NOT TAKE TIER PHONE HERE. There are other battery plus stores in Birmingham that have employees that won't break your phone and are not rude. This is the only one I've had a problem with. It seems to be their policy to try to tell you that the phone being broken is your fault somehow. I read several reviews that said they did the same...

Kids that work here don't know what their doing. Brought in my battery that I bought a year ago due to it being completely dead and not holding a charge. Told the kid the problem and he ignored what I said and held the battery for 2 days to charge "never called me to tell me my battery was ready for pickup had to call them" get the battery back in my car and it doesn't last but a day! Told the kid it was completely dead but he wanted to do it the easy way I guess. Going in to try and get a brand new battery since mines still under warranty. I'll re edit this if I'm given a new battery like I was supposed to to begin with. That's the whole purpose of a warranty. This place has gone down hill in the past few years. Also had a kid that worked here a few years back put my freaking battery on...
