I had a good friend that worked there pass away his name was James. He was a server at the door, He told me that he had prior military experience, 1 day he had not heard from me in a few weeks and he was very happy to see me because he was so concerned that he had not seen me. We swapped numbers right then, I had only known him for a few months, But those few months, We grew closer to saying that I was carrying for my family. He pulled me to da side 1 day, And told me he said bro I just wanna tell you that I'm proud of you. You? Don't see many men that are taking care of their family like they used to. He said buddy, you know u r young And it is very solemn that you see young people taking care of a family the way that you are. I told him I said thank you James means a lot to me coming from you. Needless to say I had not seen him in a month or so I remembered that we had swap numbers so he could call me. The whole reason the last swap numbers with him is because he acted like he was so worried about me when he saw me after not seeing me for a few weeks. I went back to waffle house to see him, 'cause I had not seen him about a month or 2, Yes. Asked the fellow employee of his? How he was Doing and where he was at, Then they gave to me the sad news that he had passed...I really didn't know the guy,on a personal level. But action speaks louder than the words? When someone sees that you are trying and notices it makes you feel great.. He was a damn good man. Rest in...

My son and I sit down and order right away. and put in a Togo order at the same time.
Coffee was cold bacon was cooked so hard it crumbled toast was black, egg cooked medium was already busted on the plate when it was sat down. My sons food didn't arrive until I was done eating mine. Way overcooked bacon, dark waffle. He ate it anyway.
We sat there for 15 minutes after eating watching the three employees cut up, play music on the juke box, and had a friend bring in their own food from taco bell.
So after tired of watching the shenanigans we got up wanting our check and Togo food. When the employees(they had all went in the back laughing) realized we were standing at the counter they quickly came out and started shouting out the Togo order.
So already frustrated I voiced how disappointing the experience was and we no logger needed the Togo food and we're tired of waiting and getting burnt food. The employees proceeded to laugh at the matter as if they didn't even care and that we were bothering them.
Management needs to reconsidering employing...
Read moreWent in for a quick bite for me, my husband, and daughter. Normally, after church crowd the service is quick, chaotic, but friendly. Today, it was not! The service was horrible. It wasn’t that crowded. She wouldn’t sit the plates down for us we had to take them. As soon as we got our food she was done with us and laid down the check didn’t even come back to offer refills or anything. My waffle was not cooked all the way. My toast was burnt and she even said it was burnt and she would make more but it would be a while. Not clean at all. Didn’t bring syrup for waffles. My husband asked the two employees going through tickets next to us for syrup and they just looked at it like get it yourself. The table next to us offered us their syrup instead. When we went to the register to check out and after about five mins someone walked up and said do you have a takeout order!? I said well no I just ate at that table right there with my family for about an hour!! She said oh and took my ticket!! She was the lady that my husband asked for the syrup!! Anyways, it was disgusting, not clean, and customer service...
