WARNING!!! I chose this hotel because a hurricane was coming through Atlanta and wanted to be safe and have a nice little 24-hour getaway rest and relaxation. But that's the least of what I got. First of all, the furniture in the rooms are old and look beaten down and out of date. There was a slight musty smell when I walk into the room. The cabinet to hang your clothes up wouldn't open. The hair dryer was in the cabinet that wouldn't open so I couldn't blow dry my hair after taking a bath. The cabinet to the refrigerator wouldn't close and after I bought two pints of ice cream and went to go have a midnight snack a few hours later the ice cream was melted because a refrigerator wasn't working correctly. The television for cable kept going down and you couldn't watch any TV. The irony board was left out and whacked me on the back of My Head because the maid service could not put it back into the cabinet because the cabinet doors wouldn't open. The bed skirt was ripped in hanging on the floor underneath the bed. I went and sat down on one of the beds and the mattress wasn't quite set on the frame and fell. I went to call front desk to complain and let them know I couldn't get the hair dryer out and my refrigerator isn't working but guess what? Not only was the cord to the handset of the phone not connected but the phone was dead as well. There was really nothing in the room that worked. The shower curtain was ripped. The hot water was not very hot and all I got was a bunch of excuses and apologies. The next morning I thought the breakfast was going to save my Horrible stay but the breakfast was worse than the room. First of all you get no service in the restaurant and didn't have anybody wait on me but it was buffet so I guess that was okay. I have to be honest with you. That was the worst breakfast I've had in a long time. The eggs tasted like they came out of a box. The bacon and sausage was so dry and overcooked the French toast wasn't too bad but it was cold and there was no syrup put out or butter so I had to ask for that. They served me with a plastic spoon and fork with a paper napkin inside a plastic little bag. I had to ask for a cloth napkin and real silverware. When I went to go check out at the front desk and explain all this to the assistant manager, I never got an apology. She gave me a big attitude and got very defensive about her hotel. I wrote this review to warn people not to stay at this hotel because it's old and outdated and the staff just really doesn't care. The maid service could have rendered the issues with the hotel if they did their job properly but it apparently is not been done correctly because the ironing board wasn't put away. The phone wasn't working. The bed skirt under the bed was ripped and sagging on the floor. The bed was not properly put on to the frame and all these things could have be avoided if they would just probably have cleaned the room correctly. It was obvious that these things have been left unattended for quite a while, so that leads me to believe that the cleaning service just doesn't care. Honestly the maid service looks like they just made the beds, clean the bathroom and change towels. But if they would have cleaned the phone or put the ironing board away they would see that the furniture wasn't working correctly and the room was in maintenance Disarray. It was super disappointing for a Hilton hotel. It reminded me more of the chain Motel 6. All in all it was a total fail and the hotel should be embarrassed to present a room and treat their customers like they did mate. And to top it off. I paid over $160 for a Motel 6 quality room and stay. Super duper disappointing for that chain and I would avoid this hotel at all cost because it just wasn't my room. It has been a stressful year so far, my Husband and I celebrating our 5th year anniversary this weekend and we just wanted to have a good time. We originally planned to be out of the country, but we have a special needs daughter that has been having issues lately so we did not want to go to far away. We planned a staycation, and thought we would take the opportunity to do things around the city we had never done. I booked a King size room here because it's close to our home and the process was amazing. They have a box for special request on the website I booked from and I thought to myself, hey you never know what you could get if you just ask. I requested a room with a shower due to a fractured ankle and I also let them know it was my anniversary. They emailed me promptly and let me know that they were not sure if they would be able to accommodate me but they would try. I was very pleased they even communicated that with me, they even let me know they were excited to have us stay here. I was having issues with my card and they communicated with me throughout the day to rectify the issue before I arrived. I finally arrived, I was still dealing with my bank but they were very patient. We got everything situated and I was able to check in, once I got to my room I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed. To top it off they had a bottle of Champagne and flutes with a card from the employees wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We were not expecting it, so it really made us feel special. The employee's customer service has been nothing short of amazing, everytime we encountered an employee, they made sure to greet us and tell us to enjoy our stay. This is my first night here and they have checked on my husband and I atleast 3 times via text to ensure we were enjoying our stay and if they could assist us with anything else. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels and I have never received this type of service, I wish all hotels modeled this level of customer service. We truly felt like celebrities today with how they accommodated us. To Tanika B., Juanita and the rest of the staff thank you guys so much. You really dont even understand the feeling you gave us today, it feels really good to receive excellent customer service in this climate we are in. Read moreMy stay here has been horrible Never booked this hotel ever again. I Was Referred By My Cousin An Hilton Employee To Stay At This Location. I Know This Is Not How the Hilton operate. Let me start off by saying first the hotel room that I booked was booked up when I arrived and I was giving another room where two of my family members had to sleep on a pullout couch Did not pay for my family to sleep on a pull out when we paid and book two beds. The bathroom was dirty. The next day there were having some big convention and a wedding all at the same time I had random people sleeping outside of my door and chairs kids running up and down the hallway hard to even get through in the lobby, went to the store to get food for my family to warm up in the microwave, and I was accused of stealing out of there store in the front when I was warming up my food the items I had in my bag they don’t even sell in the store one of the front desk. Workers approach me said that she seen their items on camera and me putting them in my bag, as I asked her, did she accuse me of stealing something she said yes, then I proceeded to pull everything out my Kroger bag which is everything I purchased and show her the receipt to show her that I have stolen nothing and she cannot accuse me of stealing anything if I have not stolen anything she did not apologize . when she found out that she was was very rude about the situation talking to the other front desk worker she admitted that her coworker was wrong and she had she should have never accused me of stealing anything I was totally offended being the black man that I am I was put on the spot in front of a lobby full of other races. Everyone now pay attention to her accusing me of stealing I asked for a manager I was told there is no managers that works Shift doing busy times and things like this that occurs a manager should always be available. The lady was very nonchalant about the situation after I told them that I was. Comfortable no one have came to my room to knowledge the fact to apologize or anything there’s no manager that I can get in contact with I feel like me and my family is forced to stay here where we feel very uncomfortable.
