I found Pima Prickly Park by accident. My day started off poorly, so I searched Google for parks near me and picked one. Wasn't what I wanted, so I drove down the street and voila, sign for another park. Curious, I drove in. Being Super Bowl Sunday, it was deserted but for one other person, but it's quite adorable. It's both a trail park and an information park - there's signs and plaques for different cacti, and a visitors center. It's well maintained, clean, with broad main paths and clearly delineated side paths. Not all the landscape is cacti; there are succulents, desert wildflowers, and trees. I rather enjoyed...

Free entry. Free parking. Most trails are not paved, but are smooth gravel. Most species are marked and some larger display panels inform you about the several varieties. There is plenty of room for these plants to mature as many are smaller than you might see in the other botanical gardens in and around Tucson. There is a shade ramada. Also there is a large labinrith that can be walked. It is opposite the parking area. A unique feature is the Saguarohenge. This park adjoins the Pima County Parks and Recreation...

This place is park that you can go to tht has a beautiful aesthetic which is very peaceful and pretty. This is a 7 acre park that is free that has a variety of cacti and succulents. There are also picnic tables that's you can sit at and have lunch. This Park was adopted as an educational joint venture between the Tucson Cactus Succulent Society and Pima County Natural Resources. The Park is open from dawn to dusk. They also allow...

Omgosh another hidden gem in Tucson! Founded to save what would've been discarded desert fauna due to construction sites, this place is truly beautiful. Full of cactus/ succulents and tons of natural wildlife. Spend a while here and just relax. Don't forget to check out "saguaro henge"
