I ordered through DoorDash so I won’t rate customer service or atmosphere. The food however, meh. This is the first time having Popeyes since moving from the East coast and I lived in an area where they did two food things really well. Pizza, wings(chicken in general), or just comfort food in general. Well Italian food also being in the Philly Metro area. Still haven’t found a pizza to rival back there, but Popeyes is pretty straight forward. How do you get that wrong? Well this place did it. Those special seasonings they always talk about? Not in existence here. This was the flattest chicken from Popeyes I’ve ever tasted. The chicken also tasted like it was not fresh. I think my order was on the tail end of a switch out possibly. You can never know. The temp I’ll chock up to the length of the drive to get the order from DoorDash. Not the restaurants fault. That food though is not great. How do you not season chicken? I know the difference so I know what Popeyes CAN be. This is a store problem. Being that I never or rarely eat this during the day, I may never get a chance to experience the day crews work. It was crispy and I gave two stars for it at least not being soggy and the fries were good. Oddly enough, THEY were seasoned LOL! I hope this isn’t indicative of Arizona fast food chicken. If so, I feel sorry for the locals. You don’t know what you’re missing. Probably not, as my local Korean place had...
Read moreToday, on 09/10/2022, my family went to this Popeyes for dinner 5:38pm. Our experience started with us having to wipe down our table ourselves because all of the tables were dirty. After waiting for our food for 30 minutes, an employee brought out a tray of food. My kids started eating the French fries on the tray, we realized that it wasn't even our order, and alerted the employee. They took the tray back to the kitchen and immediately gave it to a different customer, even though my children already touched the good. We waited an additional 30 minutes (60 minutes total) for them to make the correct order for us. When the employee brought out the food, there were no plates or utensils on the tray. We asked the employee for some, she left and never came back. My father then went to the counter to see what was going on. They gave him plates, but said they were out of utensils. Since we werent even able to eat our food, unless we were to eat our smashed potatoes and coleslaw with our fingers, he asked for a refund, and the employees told him that they couldn't give him a refund until they called their manager for permission. So we then had to wait and leave until they were able to reach the manager via phone to give us a refund. I am so disappointed thaty family had to deal...
Read more2 stars only and that’s a lot, very disappointing to pay for a almost $64 order online and pick up the order, but it’s not complete and then felt rushed at the window. It was our first time ordering online 4 combo’s & a shrimp tackle box. Tell me why, one combo was missing the biscuit, the mashed potatoes & red beans & rice on all 4 combos have less than half of the containers filled with the side items, I understand our economy is at its worst but if we have to pay more than why reduce the side items to one less scoop, that’s really dumb & a good way to run customers off! All chicken tender combos had at least 2-3 pieces of hard chicken like it was old chicken or had been under heat lamps way too long. The tackle box looked nothing like the pictures online & had about 6-7 shrimp only, the biscuit was hard and all orders were large, yet they gave me 3 large drinks and one small. I received the bag at the window but it was closed with tape, I asked lady at window for forks & spoons and the boat plates and she said it’s all in there, rushing me away. You think if you pay over $63 which is what a sit down dinner costs at Olive Garden, they’d try to make an online order right especially when it was before lunch time. Super disappointed… next time I’ll apply my money...
