i came here in july to get a simple nail design which i was told to pay $80 for, it could have been worse but the gems werenât in a straight line, some were oddly spaced out , the nail itself was lumpy and within a week i started to notice my nails hurting (first slide). i came back to tucson and immediately started trying to remove them myself which i normally do but it was not working . i finally went to a different nail shop to get them removed in the middle of august and this was the result (2nd and 3rd slide). in the third slide my middle finger nail is completely OFF, it fell OFF it is half of my nail bed and the part that is still there is a part that had already peeled off (such as my ring finger in slide 3). i hesitated leaving a review incase it went away but it is now october 5th and my nails are now completely damaged when i used to have perfectly amazing healthy nails (last slide). do not waste your money to come here and risk your entire nail bed, this is heartbreaking and just overall disgusting.( EDIT:If you had read correctly. AS SOON AS I GOT MY NAILS DONE they had started to hurt ,my nails had already started peeling and coming apart BEFORE i had attempted to remove them myself and when i went to a GREAT salon they removed my acrylics and that was what was underneath my nails. The other salon i went to even mentioned how terrible this was and made sure i didnât get my nails done at their establishment. incase you misunderstood , i got my nails done, they started to hurt, they started to peel/break, i tried to remove them, went and got them removed, this was the result. simply apologizing and insinuating it was mine or the other shops âfaultâ is extremely unprofessional and i sincerely hope this doesnât happen to anyone else. Place needs to be shut down .( ALSO THERES ANOTHER REVIEW WITH SOMEONES TOE NAILS MESSED UP?! i feel bad for anyone who decides to spend their money here before reading...
Read moreAfter a recent experience there, unfortunately, I feel like I can no longer recommend this nail salon the way I used to. I usually go with Nikki and everything was fine, I really like how my nails would turn out, until recently. I was a walk in so I accepted an available tech ( 5-29-19 chair #8). I asked for SNS dip. The tech used UV lamp to cure my nails. The SNS system does not need curing. At that time I asked her if it was âSNSâ and she said yes, I told her SNS does not need curing by light, she said yes it did and still continued to cure with a light which leads me to believe itâs not genuine SNS product being used or not properly trained. My other main concern was, I observed a dirty nail station, had nail powder still from previous customer. After my nail dip service, the tech took a very dirty brush, one she had been dusting my nails with, the nail station with, everything with and then she used the same brush to dust the left over powder from the dip service that was on top of a paper towel and then under the paper towel straight from the nail station into the âSNSâ dip powder container. Obviously I was very concerned but didnât want to cause a scene or attention, since it was very busy. I messaged owner via IG PM that same night about my concerns, but never got a response. Employees need to be trained to be more cautious about sanitation, cross contamination and the proper usage of SNS Dip System. The stations should be wiped from left over powder and/or a towel needs to be placed before seating a new customer and the same brush used to clean and dust everything should not be used in that manner, the used left over dip powder should not be dusted back into the container. I gave it 3 stars because of the positive experiences I did have in past, I donât like leaving negative reviews but itâs probably the only way to get the attention for corrective action which needs to be done for...
Read more2019 update: Still the same, always packed made appt at 12:30 pedi wasnât helped until closer to 1pm. Then on top of that the girl was done in 20min! When a person pays $40 for a pedi you want it to be at least 30-35min long. Most other places Iâve been do massage for at least 15min not 5. Donât think Iâll go back again. Disappointing because I like the services they offer and SOME people are nice. But for how busy they remain and then on top of that rush your service itâs not worth it.
2017-They are ok/good. I will point out I love how luxurious the salon feels. However my first experience I went maybe two months ago had to be with a gentleman in the middle back of the salon was getting anc nails and he wasnât very nice as he was doing my nails I was just looking because like everyone you like to see how they are being done he said to me twice âdonât lookâ a bit rudely. I was surprised isnât it natural to just see how your nails are being done?? So then I ended up just watching the tv over him and closing my eyes a bit. I think he could sense I was a bit angry after his attitude and tried to be nice to me asking if I was tired with a smile. Went back a second time about a month ago forgot the older womanâs name got a pedicure but it felt a bit rushed. The only other thing that bothers me about this place is that they donât take tips on the card. So if you actually wanna tip your person make sure you bring cash. Which now days I feel like they should understand not always ppl have on them. They should be productive in that sense and allow tips to be added on card payments as well. In my mind thatâs not only rude on their part but as a customer you can appear rude as well when you canât tip your person if you donât have cash. But itâs not your fault when you canât if they donât take it right? The way I see it the salon in that sense is losing out on money that...
