The play equipment is in decent condition however not age appropriate. There is a play area for kids 8-12 and a play area for toddlers 1-3, the toddler play areas equipment is broke, missing monkey bars, or just left to rust. The tettering toy (the single kid horse type ride toy) it's just completely gone and a small pole sticking about 8 inches from the ground remains. I understand the gathering place is just down the way, but walking to plays areas there is very inconvenient for our daily walks w dogs and kids. In the summer the splash area is never working or is trashed. For such a busy central location for your disc golfing community, bikers, runners ect some care needs to be put into the area. With that said, I will still use this area daily and most often, due to location and the fact that it is busy so I don't run completely alone and walks w my kids when I promise them the park after...
Read moreI enjoy these parks down on Riverside the play area has a very thick spongy type flooring so if a person falls they won't be hurt which is important especially for children and special needs. They also have play equipment for adults which is so much fun. Like an adult playground. I highly recommend these parks down in riverside drive. I hoverboard almost daily there because they keep the paved paths clean from rocks and debrees which will throw me if I hit. Peoe are always friendly and most are walking pets. the restrooms at this park have been locked however there are restrooms a few blocks towards 31st and Riverside also they have bike rentals and lime scooters. I recommend if your renting to pay for the month because each has a $10 Fee just to unlock them the monthly charge covers the unlock fees the chooters are very fast and the bikes almost propell themselves once you...
Read moreI'm not from Oklahoma, but why close the pool on Monday's? To clean it? So it's only cleaned ONE day a week?! Ewwwww! What's wrong with this state? A public facility should be cleaned every day with the amount of people attending these places. This plaza has a splash pad so it's not a pool. But they still close splash pads on Monday's too? Stupid. Other than that stupidity...when the place is open, it's decent. I do not trust the playground and there's really no place for toddlers and preschoolers. But my kids still have a lot of fun in the water so we go. Just facts about the place. They really need to clean up the trash on Monday's too if they're gonna be like that. I've picked up trash where my daughter has played. Smh. Everyone....you guys judge it for yourself. This is just my opinion since...
