Super Wok — Restaurant in Tulsa

Very small portions of burnt food. I decided to order the chicken chow main because the online menu said it had a lot of veggies. It was gross. It was a soupy mix of a few pieces of chicken and a few very overcooked vegetables and the only distinct flavor was a burnt taste. The crispy pieces on top were dark brown and burned. The steamed rice was overcooked, dry and in chunks with dark edges from burning. I had a small bite and did not eat the rest. It seemed old and dried out. I was afraid to eat it. I tasted my husband's beef dish. The "brown sauce" was sickly sweet and way too thick...like it had been sitting for hours. The vegetables were over cooked. Been coming here for nigh on 20 years now, and I still haven't found a fast food place in Tulsa that's better.

The food is plentiful, the prices are great, the people are simply wonderful. They know us by name, and our friends, and are just super kind and friendly to everyone. They don't use MSG, to which I am sensitive. Their food never disagrees with me. The bourbon chicken is excellent, and so is their orange sesame chicken. They recently added sesame balls that are just uh-MA-zing. Just right for crunchy/chewy.

Edited to add: BRING CASH! They prefer to take cash. If you pay with a card, throw some cash in the tip jar. These folks run on a shoestring, bringing you lots of good food for cheap, help them out by helping them avoid credit...

Terrible. They wasted my time and money. I ordered a large curry chicken and they put very little chicken on It. Like maybe an handful of tiny bits of chicken. We never got a receipt and when we called in they said that they would give me more chicken but i just wanted my money back. I spent $13 on the entree. They said they would give me my money back but then when we got there with the 'meal' the cook was waiting in the window and said that we wouldnt get our money. He would put more chicken in there and after a heated argument we said fine and drove off. Im good on spit curry chicken. I paid 13 bucks...
