The Pad Thai is wonderful! I was a little disappointed with my order of Thai Hot Pot. When served, it just didn’t look like the beautiful, appetizing picture in their on line menu. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped it would be. It had shrimp, octopus rings, scallops, what I think were green mussels, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes and spices. The medium was a good big bowl of soup and it came with rice. I ordered it at a 5 “medium” heat. I think I could have gone a little hotter. I had to ask for a small side of chili sauce to spice it up. My wife selected the Pad Thai with Tofu. She is somewhat of a tofu expert. Her assessment of the meal in total and specifically the tofu was “excellent.” She thought the flavors in the Pad Thai were exceptional. What stood out to her was that it had lots of bean sprouts and the taste of special sauce. The best she has had. I had to taste of it. The finely ground roasted peanuts, blended with the special sauce to make a Pad Thai, better than any I have tasted. This is a small shop. It is obvious that owner/chef and staff take pride in their food and service. They truly own their work! The chef delivered the food and checked on us a couple of times during the meal. I ordered unsweet tea to go with the meal. I have no idea what it was made from. I tried to identify the flavors, but was still puzzled. It was good though. The other thing is the deserts. I have read the reviews about the Ice Floss. We decided to give it a try. We went with the Mango. I seldom eat desert and I don’t like ice cream. But, this stuff is over the top delicious. Don’t eat here...

Chose this spot for a lunch date, and we had a horrible experience. I came in first about 2 pm and was the only patron in the building. The guy that was sitting behind the counter told me I could sit wherever I wanted and to grab a seat.

He came over, and I informed him I was waiting for a date. He took my drink order and I got the hot green tea (only one offered). 3 minutes later, he comes back and asks if I'm ready to order. I told him I would like to wait for my date. He was very mono tone, rushed, and not friendly at all. I even googled the hours when he walked away to make sure they weren't closing, and maybe I was the rude one; nope...open till 9 pm.

My date arrived, and she asked for hot tea and honey, and he told us they had no honey and no sweeteners . He immediately asked if we were ready to order even though he literally just watched her sit.

We ordered the lunch chicken pad thai. It's one of my favorites. The salad was lettuce a soup bowl of dressing. It was gross. See the pictures below. I don't like floating lettuce in liquid. The spring roll was burnt to a clip. See video, It crumbles into card board. The Pad Thai was delicious but the portion size was really small.

He also knew we were splitting this one dksb and he didn't bring any...

Do not go here. Worst thai food I've had in a very very long time -- possibly ever.

We came at 7pm on a Saturday. That's prime dinner time for every other restaurant, but they only had 1 other patron inside. We decided to trust the previous reviews we'd seen and proceed, but in retrospect, it's clear why they were empty...

The calamari was old, stale, cold, and dry. It nearly broke my tooth on the first bite.

The summer roll was warm and 90% lettuce. The sauce was not the usual peanut dipping sauce but some tangy, sour dark sauce that completely overpowered the roll.

The panang curry was incredibly thin. Pretty much just just orange water. And even though I asked for a 7/10 spice level, it was more of a 2. No spice at all, and no complex flavors.

The pad kee mao noodles were JUST noodles. We ordered it with seafood and barely had any seafood at all. The calamari we did get were all clumped together in a chunk in a corner of the plate, as if they were never actually tossed with the rest. Worst of all, everything tasted old and slightly spoiled.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone. The service was okay, and the Thai tea was what I expected, but that's ALL they have...
