Ive been going here since they opened and I'm done. Over the time Ive been going here the quality on everything except the rice has varied so greatly its sad. Watered down beans and burnt rice seem normal now. The sides of rice which are 2.25 have gone from the original size to half the portion size for the same price. (?!) Today I ordered in the drive through...no one else was waiting, they asked me to pull into space 1. As I waited the other spaces filled. After the 20 min mark a young girl ran out with one of the car who ordered after me's order, A fee minutes later a 2nd car! At this point (25 mins after I ordered-with 2 hungry kids in tow) I asked where my food was? Instead of cx service I got stank teenage attitude. making excuses about why they were served first then walked away from me as I was talking. I then pulled back to the window where the manager tried to make the same excuses. Telling me "I have to understand the people who arrived and ordered after me were served first because they had 2 tacos or 1 burrito" -you dont speak to cx this way. Also I only ordered 2 items, a burrito and a chorizo plate. (Also ordered extra tortillas that I did not receive-again!)
They were not busy, nothing justifies the time it took to make my 2 item order and especially the lack of cx service.
The quality of food isn't near good enough to deal with that type of disrespectful behavior towards customers.
The manager only offered one apology after I asked him why he would give me such poor customer service which I would be including in my review.
We live across the street and have ordered here at least 50 times. The manager of this location guaranteed with his poor service and inability to run his crew that it will never...
Read moreOk, so I have lived in San Diego, South Texas, and Colorado. I feel that I have tried a lot of breakfast burritos. I'll break down the Calaca Breakfast Burrito: (1) I ordered this on DoorDash for breakfast. Food arrived nice and hot. (2) Tortilla is flaky and thin....like the ones from the tortilleria on 21st. Good because it tasted homemade & I really don't want to fill up on tortillas. (3) REAL cracked eggs. I get so frustrated when restaurants use pre-mixed eggs from a carton. Also had bacon pieces that were cooked firm, not floppy & underdone. (4) potatoes were good, but I would have loved to have freshly sliced & cooked potatoes. These tasted soft with a crunchy outside, like those frozen potatoes in a bag. (5) two people (or one big dude) could eat this. It's a full-size tortilla filled with good stuff. (6) salsa could use some work. Recommend the owner go to Thee Tequillas on Brookside & try their fresh salsa. You could kill it if you served this burrito with fresh salsa.
Final Comment....top 2 breakfast burritos I've had in Tulsa so far. I'll definitely...
Read moreThe food looked amazing! Also, the atmosphere was pretty cool, laid-back and chill. The cooks and those will work and they were pretty nice. Very patient and willing to work with us so that we can make the best decision. We got the Bierria tacos! Comes with a side of rice, and also beans. As well as some broth it is that you can actually dip the Bierria tacos in as well. So if you wanna come try this place out, then we should go ahead and drop on in. They do have multiple locations so we should try one of the multiple locations that they have here in Tulsa Oklahoma! So, if you’re ready to have some great Tex mix then La Catrina will be a great place for you to come and actually eat! Be sure to drop in and get some of the great desserts that it is that they offer as well. Mexican food is always a great option when it comes to you and your family having a great time to be able to eat. I have so many different selections to choose from. It will be a great place to eat especially if you have not tried Bierria...
