Update 6.20.25: It is only right to update the response from the store.... Our organization would like to thank Chris, for the refund received on 6.17.25. Although Chris, when you 1st contacted me, you came in 'hot' with your statement "let me hear your side". I then asked if you read my complaint, to which you said 'NO". You then asked what was the gist...hahahaha... I was taken aback!!!! Whatttttt!!!! You already took the sides of your workers. I thank God I had proof. I then requested that he go and read the complaint and listen to the recording of myself. Well, well, well, guess what. Chris called me back and apologized!!! You guessed it!!!! The employees omitted information!!! In my book, omission is a half truth, which is a lie!!! In addition, I was reminded by my team that I had been visiting this location since "21. Therefore, I had been dealing with Veronica for 4 yrs of the 5 (to which she admitted to knowing me). It is our hope that this will never happen again and expect full accountability of your employees who did this. I know by law you can not say; however, are these ladies still the manager and free to treat others as they did me? Additionally, I was embarrassed on a personal and professional level, and it was mentally and emotionally taxing. It took me quite some time to find help to pick up said order, since they called police/security to have me removed and banned from your store (Emily and Veronica)!!! Your employees' actions could have created a professional liability for us, as we have clients who require the records to be clear, clean, and beyond reproach. Mannnnnnn... I do not know what was in the air this year!!! What is more crazy this was my 4th year visiting this location for my needs. There are no words to describe how I felt during, after, and even today!!! To say the least, I was disappointed, appalled, and flabbergasted by the mistreatment I received from Emily, Veronica, and the gentleman that was on 'am' duty on 6.3.25. The lack of great care of customer service from Bella on the evening 6.2.25. (I submitted a 3 page complaint regarding this horrific incident) However, let me not negate some kindness!!! Ā Ā Ā Read moreGot scammed by another company on a pair of gaming chairs for my kids for their birthdays, so instead of risking ordering online again, I decided to try to shop local, even though I didn't think I'd be able to find the same colors that I had ordered.
Went into this office Depot location and found two gaming chairs that my kids would like, but they only had one in stock and the other one was at another location here in town. These chairs were advertised on a sale price from $300 down to $130, and I went ahead and went over to the other store to find out that the chairs weren't supposed to be on sale, and that the 71st and Lewis store had missed changing out their signage. So the 51st and memorial store sent me back over to have me work out the price with them.
Anyways, long story short I walked back into the 71st and Lewis store and spoke with Veronica and she said hey looks like the sign is expired but we're going to honor the price anyways and she did a stock transfer from the other store so that I could get that same price on that chair as well so I got both chairs at the expired advertised price of $130, plus she gave me an additional discount on the chairs for the trouble of having to go back and forth between the stores. She also gave me her card in case I had any trouble picking up the other chair after I had paid for it.

Their machines would lock up, my gift cards would work one day, the next day, don't work. The GM blamed me for having the wrong card (Merch. or Gift card) instead of training staff.
