Tulsa Hair Co — Attraction in Tulsa

Made an appointment for a half hour ahead of time. She said it's "perfect" and no problem. Came in and sat to wait for 15 minutes AFTER my appointment.

I brought a photo of the type of cut I wanted. An inverted medium bob. She scribbled things down on her sheet of what processes will be done (because I also wanted to color my hair). I agreed on the price (a price of what I believed would bring me a professional job). I discussed with her the type of color I wanted. An underneath color. Blonde on top, red underneath. I wanted to speak with her more about my idea and discuss how much blonde/red ratio I wanted and asked for advice. I think she misunderstood me and thought I was referring to the lightness of the blonde.

First mistake, I only brought a photo for the type of cut I wanted and not the color. I ended up with literally a half and half of blonde and red stacked hair. The red reaches up to my temples.

Second mistake: hers. One side of my hair was a medium bob. The other side of my hair is a short bob. What....in....the world?? These are professionals!

Why 2 stars and not one? Because I was allowed to go back and get a correction on the cut. I wasnt going to risk frying my hair off to correct the wacky dye job. Ive done this before. Lightening a freshly dyed mane of red hair is not smart. So I didnt ask to correct it. So, great I let her turn my wack job hair into a short bob.

Needless to say you need to be very prepared to walk a stylist at THC through what you want done to your hair. It's as though they have regular customers and arent challenged very often. Yep, they posted a picture of my hair on their social sites. It sure is real pretty from that angle! Good thing the public has no idea thats also not the hair job I wanted.

So, Keonna. Beautiful name, beautiful person - inside and out. Every detail of what I asked for was listened to and careful mapped out but also given a creative twist. Everything you could ever want from a stylist - and truly that, a stylist and artist - when you aren’t sure yourself what you want or need! Had both cut and color done on this visit by Keonna and I truly love both! I am not a selfie person but including for proof of the fabulous job done!!

I love this location. Everyone there is very talented and nice. On a separate occasion a young lady named Libby gave me just a cut and it was also fantastic. And you know what is amazing? A ladies cut is 18 dollars y’all. (I am sure there are some other factors that might change the price, but a cut starts at 18. Amazing. Affordable. AND Quality!)

They do NOT take appointments. Walk in only. Amazing for me (a flight attendant) who often doesn’t know her schedule ahead. If you are an appointment person just call ahead the day you are needing service. You won’t be disappointed! Ten out of ten!! I will be...

I got a hair cut from Elaine yesterday. First time at the Tulsa Hair co. So glad I did! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it cut. I started to explain what I wanted but she already knew...I felt totally confident the entire time she was cutting my hair. The finished cut was perfect! I couldn't be happier. I've gotten so many compliments on it. I will for sure only be going to Elaine at Tulsa Hair Co from now on. And also for all my other hair care needs. Can't wait to get more services done here. The location is convenient. The atmosphere is really modern and clean. Elaine is such a great hair stylist with such charismatic spirit. Sometimes I get my hair cut and it's super awkward because you don't know the person cutting your hair....and the two of you attempt to make conversation. And it ends up being weird. But not with Elaine! I felt totally comfortable! I consider her a friend now! It was such a fun experience. I will be back! Definitely feel confident in going to Elaine at the...
