Gluten free choices! I have celiac disease so I was delighted! We tried the fried chicken with homemade mashed potatoes, white gravy, and sweet carrots. The CRUNCHY chicken was fresh hot out of the fryer! It was a lot of chicken. 2 white pieces, two dark, and a wing. My husband and I both ate it and still had 2 pieces to take home. GF truffle fries! Generous portion here too. We also tried the deviled eggs combo. 2 of each type: fried chicken on half and fried oysters on the others. Plenty to share. One disappointment was the filet mignon skewers surprisingly. They had the slightest hint of fish flavor at the end, almost like they had been grilled in the same spot as some fish. The service was wonderful, as was the atmosphere. We will definitely be back. It is a cute little place by the way. I love places like this, which do not seat lots of people. It feels like my own little secret find!

Newest dessert Cinnamon Bread Pudding! Wow- they surpassed our expectations. Delicious doesn't even describe the entrees we had. Servings were hearty, fresh, and filled with flavor! We had the AWARD WINNING Deviled Eggs, banana fritters, **Challah Bread Egg Strata!!!, Short Rib Hash, Croque Madame, BBQ Bacon Jam Burger, Bin 35 Bowl. Great menu select and array of flavors. Enjoyed every bite- well done Tim and Annie! --- Halibut to rave about! Great wine selection... Tonight a bottle of Opus One 2012. Appetizers were delicious- olives, fried goat cheese, deviled eggs topped with fried oysters. What a delicious array of tastes. Worth a visit!

I’ve recently been eliminating gluten from my diet and was very excited to try the fried chicken here. I came in a couple of Mondays ago & left with what I later saw was raw, undercooked chicken. I called the next afternoon to see if I could get it replaced and was told by the person answering that I needed to call back the next day. Honestly, I wasn’t going to leave a negative review except that I believe an immediate response was justified. Raw chicken is a health hazard. And I don’t believe any customer should have to reach out multiples times to resolve this type of issue.

The service was outstanding. The food? $80 for a $35 meal. They delivered on the Parisian Mac & Cheese appetizer, which was good. My steak / pork chop / shrimp combo with heavy cream sauce was more Texas all you can eat than Continental understatement. The steak fell short. It was on the tough side for something that expensive. Yeah, it fills you up and tastes good, but don't pitch yourself as selling French cuisine when you're Texas Roadhouse in all but name.

Location and interior were nice. The service was personable, attentive and helpful. But $80+? Definitely not delivering value exceeding the $40 range. When you charge high end, you'd better deliver; Hen Bistro's food doesn't.

I tipped our sever 20% because he earned it with service worthy of these prices. The shortcoming was charging 4-5 star prices for 3 star food. Not bad....

An absolute GEM. My wife and I went on a day date after our son went back to school and we were both blown away by this place. First off: I'm Celiac and always tend to have issues even when food claims GF. Regardless, I have had countless reactions after moving to Tulsa. Not only did I NOT have any reactions, but felt amazing and kept a full belly until a late dinner. We both ordered the Fried Chicken and I devoured mine while my wife enjoyed hers as well but is more cautious about eating fried Chicken in public places. I don't care...let people stare! 😂 It was literally the best Fried Chicken I've had since my Celiac diagnosis in 2011. 13 years I've been waiting for this!!!! If you haven't been and have dietary issues, I cannot recommend them enough! We...
