Went to trade things in today and part of what we took was a psvita slim 2001, we never use it so figured we may as well get some money for it. When we went to sign the receipt it said "Defective handheld - $2.00" we asked what was up with that and they said it didn't work, said they put it on a charger while we browsed and it lit up but kept saying the battery was empty. They did not mention this at all prior to giving us the receipt, we only noticed because the trade amount was far lower than it should have been. Decided we would rather keep it (because even for parts it sells for much more than two dollars) and the guy was grouchy about having to take it off and having to ring up the sale again.. Took it home, put it on the charger for no more than 2 minutes and it turned on just fine. They tried to scam us out of atleast $100 by saying it was defective when it wasn't. Pay CLOSE attention to each item on your receipts because they won't even mention it before having you sign. They've also given us $15 for a ps4 controller that they then sold for $89.99. It's not worth it, it...
Read moreSo I was up there this weekend. I'm not sure what happened but I had 18 movies at 1.99 each in the bogo section the girl said 1 wasn't but it was .99 so that means 1.99 and .99. Remember those numbers haha. So 16 at 1.99 each which is $32 roughly so that would have been 16$ +$3=$19 tax at .085 would have been 20.65$ she kept say it was $28 and change. I think she was only taking $1 each movie off. I ended up putting 3 back and it ended up being $15 and some change........not sure if she's new or what but on these kinds of sales I think you need to have a calculator or something up there for the kids. It was pretty frustrating when I already had the total calculated out. Just a heads up. She seemed defeated as she saw my stack as well she side a bit. But it's all good I guess kind of frustrating I had to put those back. As I am always buying...
Read moreI am somewhat of a classic game aficionado. I bought a Sega Genesis Classic Mini system from Vintage stock. I didn't use it so I went in to sell it back to them. They told me that it was a third party system (not true) along with many other errors in their assessment of my vintage games. They offered me $7.25 dollars for items that I spent 60 dollars just a month prior. (I had just come from another Vintage Stock and they offered me 10.25) I told the manager that he was wrong about it being third party and he game back with "this is the AT games version" (he didn't even look at the model number). I even have the box it came in to prove it. I had been trading with Vintage Stock for 17 years. I called them and they just gave me a corporate number. I no longer...
