Terrible customer service and hair color with MOLLY! I mean look at the photos and you can see what I mean. My hair looks even worse when I straighten it. This is just after blow drying it!!! I canât even let my hair down. Once I reached out to Molly about my hair, she tried to give so many excuses for why it looks so bad instead of owning her mistake and try to be transparent about it. Making a mistake is one thing and not owning and try to hide it is another. For starters, this is her first excuse why she did a terrible job, âYou had a chemical reactionâ why was I not made aware of this chemical reaction during the appointment ? Why did she not make a follow up appointment to fix it? Why was she not transparent about whatâs going on? Initially, I noticed the bottom is darker and I told her when I was in the chair, she said, âyou are staring at it. Itâs not darkerâ as she dried my hair I started noticing it more, I asked her how can this be fixed because I donât like this, she said that I need to go back to fix the tips. I asked her if she would charge me and she said 150 more!!!! I just spent 385 that day plus tips!!! And she didnât even fix the whole color for how much she charge me!!! I didnât think more of it and I happily said I will go back to get the tips done for 150 more that day!!! She curled my hair and didnât even inform me my hair was 6 different colors!!!! And when your hair is curled, it doesnât look as bad. I washed my hair after 3 days and I saw the 6 different colors. I texted her all the photos and she tried to blame it on the chemical reaction which I was never made aware of. Then she blamed it on me going in 20 minutes late which was only 10 minutes late. I texted her 30 minutes prior to my appointment and I informed her that I would be 10 minutes late as the traffic from Modesto to Turlock was very bad and if she thought that would be a big deal, she should have rescheduled me then and she is blank lying about 20 minutes late. Then when she ran out of lies, she said itâs my fault for waiting a year to get my roots done. Well, if that was the case, why did she not inform me that this would happen because I waited a year? Then itâs her fault for failing to communicate ahead of time that this may happen because I waited a year, so I could have a chance to make an informed decision for myself. At the end, I still gave her a second chance, and I texted asking her what she could do for my hair and how is she going to fix it. She ignored my texts for 5 days saying she was busy but I saw her posting photos of her clients on Instagram. Hopefully she will learn a lesson from this not to ignore an upset client for 5 days, blame the client for her wrong doing, and try to find a resolution right away!! I asked for a full refund to which she replied she doesnât do refunds and she will want me to go in and she will fix the hair and then I should find another hair stylist and another hair salon!!!!!! She has the audacity to dismiss me from a salon that she doesnât even own! Would you go back to her after messing up your hair this bad, still giving her a second chance, and then she treating you like that? I told her I donât feel comfortable to go to her and I need a full refund so I can pay someone else to fix my hair. I canât even let my hair down Iâm so embarrassed. She felt no sympathy for how bad my hair looks. I will report her to the board of cosmetology, to BBB and if she doesnât refund me by the end of today, I will see her in small claim court. She needs to learn better manners and customer service and her license needs to be reviewed again for the terrible job sheâs done. I added photos of our text communication as well so everyone can see how she handled...
Read moreVery disappointing experience considering how excited I was to try this salon. The owner did my hair and never asked me what I wanted, she just started working based off I donât know what plans. I paid $250 (5 years ago so itâs probably much more now) to get my hair colored and she put in maayybee 25 foils total in my hair. I have thick hair thatâs over 24 inches long. Needless to say, the difference was basically nonexistent. She didnât say more than a few words to me the whole time and then handed me off to a different young lady for the wash and styling. I felt manipulated when the owner came back after and said my hair looked great. It was obvious that almost nothing had changed. I had to message her and come back to get more foils put in and even that was only 5-10 more along the front to create the illusion of change. It was my first time ever getting my hair dyed and I was let down in so many ways. The photos below are before, during, and after. Since then, I have heard more negative experiences about the salon. I donât know if they are deleting reviews but itâs common practice for businesses these days to do so, it seems. Anyway, if this review helps one person it will be...

The install was completely painless and comfortable!
The overall environment was welcoming and relaxing, which made the whole experience even better. Megan is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The end result was flawlessâmy hair looks fuller, longer, and so much more voluminous without feeling heavy or looking obvious.
