The Greenery Nursery and Garden Shop — Attraction in Turlock

BUYER BEWARE!!!! They do NOT honor their return policies. Over the years my wife and I have supported this small business with thousands of dollars in our business from landscape design, statuary, landscaping 2 homes front and back, etc. Recently, my wife purchased a bunch of plants from them for our backyard. One of the plants was struggling so my wife followed the return policy in speaking with them about how she should proceed. She took pictures, told them that she followed planting instructions, lighting and water requirements, etc. The manager was called and was quick to blame her and tell her that it couldn't possibly be their plant and that it must be our soil or an issue on our side and that their plants don't have any issues. She explained that the other plants around it were thriving and it was just the 1 plant. Still they said it must be her fault. Seeing if I could help, I brought the plant in with the receipt and told them that we followed their instructions and would like them to honor their return policy. They refused. I even spoke with the owner and he said that he trusts his manager's to make decisions and refused as well. It was like they were looking for any excuse to not honor their policy and only care about taking your money. It saddens me as we have spent so much money trying to support local rather than big chain to be treated this way. Lesson learned and they will never receive another $ from us nor should...

The owner and the 2 ladies at the cash register were so nice we came in looking for a specific humming bird feeder and one of the ladies at the register and the owner searched everywhere for this humming bird feeder after everyone finished looking it was looking like they didn't have any as it's no longer season for them the owner never stopped looking and thankfully he didn't as he found the exact one we were looking for. I was told that I caused stressed damage to their plants when all their misty blue plants look the same way. Save your time and money and shop else it’s not worth the headache here.
