I can't recommend this place to anyone. This is the worst repair shop I've been to in this country. I took my laptop in for repair, paid a non-refundable diagnostics fee of $65, and waited for several days without any updates. When I went back to the shop to find out what was going on, I was told that the person in charge was on administrative leave.
I was surprised they didn't inform me about this when I dropped off my laptop. They (a guy specifically) claimed they didn't know the person would be on leave. When I asked more questions, they bluntly asked if I wanted my laptop back. I was shocked by their customer service and said yes, requesting a refund since no diagnostic had been done. They refused, saying the $65 fee was just for dropping it off, regardless of whether any check was completed. The guy claimed since I want to get back whereas he asked if I wanted to.
It became clear to me that this place takes your money and does nothing. I had read a review suggesting similar experiences, with gadgets left for weeks without any work done. I thought the review was an outlier (extreme case), but I should have listened. If you want your stuff fixed properly and on time, go somewhere else. I took my laptop to another place, and they figured out the problem in minutes. There's a serious lack of professionalism here....
Read moreThe screen on my Z Fold developed a line down the center. Since phone was still under warranty. Was told to contact this place. Was told I didn't need an appointment , they had the parts there, and I didn't need to give my name to hold them. Wwnt there o n ly to find they had JUST used the last parts for someone else's phone and it would be two more days until they had more. Went back two days later, and the operating system was down. Went back the next day, they were short on staff and it would be the following Monday before they could fix my phone. Was first in line on Monday, left my phone, came back to pick it up and it wasn't finished. Would be 20 more minutes because it wasn't "testing" properly. Long story short, my phone is in worse shape than before. They put the old screens back on, and now the folding screen has an even bigger line down the center and now my front screen has a green line down the middle if it! Also, when the guy gave me back my phone, he had forgotten to put the SIM card back in it, so, my phone wouldn't work. Had to take it apart again after he found it on the work table. When I asked about what I was supposed to do was just told to contact the manufacturer. And this is the ONLY place in town to get warranty work done? NEVER, EVER,...
Read moreTerrible business practices. I took them my phone on a Wednesday to get the screen fixed. He told me they will be there until 7pm. I came back at 6:15 and the doors were locked. There was another customer outside that said he had been there for 20 minutes. What makes it worse is that I live in North Carolina and had to drive back home that night to catch a plane the next day. Needless to say this place absolutely ruined my time. I'm 11hrs away from home and now this place has closed early with my phone inside and they clearly told me they would be there. That gave me no option but to return to Verizon and buy a whole new phone because I can NOT drive 11 hours without a way to communicate. Then to add insult to injury when i made a report to the store nobody responded. NOBODY. Also it took my a few weeks to get back to Alabama to retrieve my phone. This was the worse experience ever. Take your phone to best buy or a different place. This place is horrible and does NOT take accountability for their actions nor do they care how they negatively effect a person's life.
