I had to drop an Amazon return to this location and man was it a hassle.
Compared to other drop off systems where you can just bring your item unboxed and they do it for you, this one lady completely ruined the experience for me.
I brought my item without a box and it was still assembled and she told me it needed to be un assembled and boxed. She was not very friendly nor sympathetic in her approach and afterwards tried to sell me a cardboard box for $20 that you can find at Home Depot or Lowes for $3.
I found the price absurd but I thought maybe it’s just corporate policy.
I go to Lowes and see such a difference in customer service. I couldn’t find any boxes of the size I needed so I asked the lady if they had any more and she said “we don’t have any more in stock, but I will try to find one for you”
We walked around the store and she found me a cardboard box that they were not going to use. I even got the box for free! This was such a different in attitude, problem solving and overall customer experience.
I go back to the UPS with my box that fit the size I needed but 2 sides were not taped properly. I asked if they had tape I could borrow and the same lady tried to charge me $2.50 for her “service” to tape 3 pieces on both sides. I was in disbelief. I understand some companies have strict corporate policies but you have to be miserable to pull something like this off.
I left my package there, ran a couple stores over to the 99€ store and got myself a roll of tape for $1.07 after tax and had almost the entire thing left after I finished taping.
That being said, I will definitely drive extra to try another USP store location or have my returns be collected at a different carrier because the customer experience I received does not encourage me to come back. I suggest HR reevaluates their staff and some policies are changed because I couldn’t imagine anyone else enjoying getting ripped off.

She kept insisting that I put the package on the scale. I informed her that it's an Amazon return. She said it doesn't matter. She then proceeded to ring up a shipping and asked for my information while I was pulling up the Amazon return code on my phone. When I showed her the code, she got angry and said that it needs to be brighter. She then said that I should have told her in the beginning to which I responded that I DID tell her it's an Amazon return from the beginning!
I did an Amazon return at another location about a month prior. I didn't have any problem and the staff was very pleasant. I used the same box that Amazon shipped to me. I just showed them the code on my phone. They scanned it and printed a label and affixed it to the box. The staff at this location kept asking what is in the box. I told her what it was and she said she have to take it out and box it themselves. All the while with an angry and frustrated demeanor.

I went to the UPS store near Souplantation to drop off an Amazon return. There was a guy waiting outside. I thought nothing of it because of Covid. There were two workers inside. One worker let him in. The sign on the door said two customers at a time. While I was waiting for them to let me in, a woman walked past me and pulled on the door. It was locked. She knocked and then one of the workers grabbed the inner security gate and pulled it down. Then the second worker walked over to the door and turned the open sign over to closed! Then she came out and said we're closed. We said we only needed to drop something off for Amazon and she said I'm sorry we're closed- our systems are down. She wouldn't even tell me where I could find another UPS location. She told me to Google it and have a nice day. I know that we are in a crisis, but people shouldn't treat people like this.
