This year we were looking forward to a long vacation in Clearwater with the stop in Brunswick at the Hilton on the way, I was really surprised to see chunks at the building and Brunswick. We fell asleep excited to go to Clearwater the next day, not a terrible stay. This one is a $4000 room at the Days inn at best. (Sorry Days Inn, no disrespect) from Sunday to Sunday we were expecting it to be very nice. Nothing looks like the pictures that I think were taken in BC. We were thinking OK this is going to be great, can't wait to see the place, we pulled in and they wanted $30.00 for parking. Back up in a handicap spot that wasn't in the garage I told him I don't have to pay for this right he said no and let me go in. Little did I know until later in the week, they charge for PUBLIC PARKING $30. So, they would charge us the same price basically as anyone off the street. I was happy and didn't care. Walk in two guys standing there didn't say a word. They were concierge, I asked one where check in he directed me to the elevator. I walked up to the desk waiting on him to say something, or maybe point to his neck because he was choking and couldn’t speak I don’t know. I said I need to check in and gave my name. He told me he needed $550 resort fee. ee now this resort fee that covered the Wi-Fi and the 2 bottles in the room you have to pay for. We got on the elevator it went up a little bit and dropped we sat there for a second and did the same thing we went up and stopped I thought we were going to die in the first 15 minutes at the place. Gotta get better, right? Nope you're wrong logged into the room and there was a Gatorade bottle under my bed use Q-tips on the balcony there was blood on the bed in the other bed had black spots all over it the air conditioning didn't work and the drain didn't work in the shower. Room service they bought us a blanket and towels then just kept saying she didn't speak English. Had to get supplies and Walmart to clean the room myself. went to pool to get a drink and asked how much the drinks were he said they were reasonable good answer when you're are buying something at a resort that raped you for almost $5000, lets see what you got. And the price is right resort. About 7 pina coladas in a week, I only paid the same price for them twice and that's because they were on the same ticket. It was so fun not knowing what would be next, it’s like a game. OK, let's see how much it will be this time Johnny. I was walking around the pool, and I kept warning everybody that the tile going around the pool were sealed.I don't know how many people I saw fall. All I know is I fell twice first time not bad second time really bad. It's been a month and I haven't heard anything from the Hilton of course. We got gulf view thinking that would be the best view I'll post that picture too you’re welcome. We literally had a long roof that stretched all the way to the end of the beach which was awesome because all we could see was the ocean. Don't take your own beach chair down on Hilton’s property, that's when I had enough. Went down to watch my son and my husband and I was going to just lay a towel down and sit before I a man on his cute little scooter with Deputy Dawgs security badge pulled up and told me that we weren't allowed to have a “Hilton towel” on hilton's property I had to rent a Cabana. Yeah at 7 p.m. ok. $4000 in the days in and can't even use a dang towel Then I got home Still hurting from my fall and mad about these stupid charges. I found out I didn't get my Hilton honors points because I booked through. They told me if I booked priceline I didn’t get points. I explained they gave me points for Airbnb Brunswick stay, she had no answer. I wrote a review; they said the property manager would get with me in 2 days. I called the hotel 800 number or whatever it is they said the manager would be in touch with me in three days I'm writing reviews here because I wrote 3 corporate people here and nobody responded surprise. Find a new hotel this one's going downhill bad Paris needed a dress.

This review is merely to share bad experiences I have had in 3 different hotels from Hilton chain. My goal is not to take advantage in any way since I won't ever step my feet into another one. I don't want or need to be "gifted" with free stays! This review here is just to raise awareness. If you are looking into a stay, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere! In august last year I stayed in a Hilton Hotel close to Nashville Airport. When I went to bed I noticed that the pillow case had a fresh catchup stain and that grossed me out. I filed a complaint and received a voucher for another stay. Called call center and even with my voucher saying I had to stay in a Double Tree, the representative said I could choose another one, so he suggested the TRU because was close to the airport. When I get there at 10pm, the front desk Samuel said that I would need to pay with my credit card because they were not Double Tree and that could have a possibility that the manager would refund and accept the voucher (there were no guarantees). I asked them to get me a room at Double Tree and was everything set so I would be in the right hotel and would have a place to sleep for only 6h, I got an uber and paid out of pocket. I had no idea that my nightmare was just about to start... When I got there the story was completely different: they said that my voucher could be fake and they had to charge my card and in the next day in the morning, that charge would be refunded... I was badly treated by the front desk, the guy still called his Director CHERLIE JULMISSE who was extremely unprofessional and rude, even with hilton employee. When I was going to my room, it was already 12:30am I had to drag 2 huge suitcases (one of them over 52 pounds) over at least 40 stairs. In the middle I felf one of my vertabreas literally cracked. My pain was indescribable! I could not sleep one minute due to the pain in my back! I am still treating with anti inflammatory medication and it doesn't seem that is actually getting better so maybe surgery might be considered. Next day in the morning I had to pay to another uber, again, out of pocket because they didn't have a shuttle for me. I really hope something can be done regarding this event, otherwise I won't have another way but hire my attorney and take the matter to another level since I am the one injured, discriminated and called "Con Artist"! Corporate and Local Hilton Bahia in Fort Lauderdale is just sending me to one another back and forth and nobody takes real action! If you have an option of staying somewhere else, please do not hesitate. If you can read this review that means, they did NOTHING as always!

Hilton Toronto Downtown - There's nothing unique about this property. The staff were not friendly and we didn't appreciate being separated from Gold and Diamond members. The line for "regular" guests was very long with only 2 people checking us in. The girl did not smile or ask if we'd been there before, which we have a few times. Our room was very old and outdated. Had stains on the chair, holes in the sheets, the door was missing a piece of wood by the hinge making it hard to open, and the furniture was chipped. The beds were very uncomfortable. I phoned regarding this room, but was told they were sold out. Another problem we encountered was a cab driver dropping off a guest, he noticed we were standing waiting and he started yelling at us to use our brain and take a cab instead of an Uber. He had no idea who we were waiting for. Your valet person saw everything and didn't tell the cab driver to leave the guests alone. He just leaned against the podium and started checking his phone. I found this very embarrassing as we weren't the only people standing out front. It would've been nice if your valet had helped us in that situation. My daughter and I have stayed at this Hilton a few times, but have never run into these types of problems. We've always enjoyed our past stays, but I don't think we will be returning. Time to find a new hotel for us when we visit Toronto.

Inadequate Management and Housekeeping. Homewood Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Deerwood Park.

Jacque Conley, General Manager. Sandra Chaverri, Head of Housekeeping department.

My stay of December 29 to Jan 1 was a disastrous experience. Supposingly for 3 nights stay, we decided to leave upon the second night.

My significant other and I stayed at Room 427 which the AC unit stopped working. We were moved to Room 429.

Upon entering the room 429, there was an unpleasant smell which I originally thought "Might be because there was no air circulation". I turned the AC on and the smell only progressingly got worse. Then we assessed the room. There were "poop" stain on the curtain by the AC unit and on the carpet trailing from bathroom to the front of the bed.

I called and moved to Room 430. At that time, it was approximately 1am on Dec 31. The room has no weird odor upon entering. However, once I showered and got into the bed, I thought I smelled "urine". Then my significant other got into the bed. He sniffed the linen and asked me to sniff it. It was definitely urine smell in the bed linen.

At that point, we were overly exhausted and called again. On top of that, we immediately showered thoroughly. That was the worst nightmare to be sleeping in a bed with urine of someone else in a HILTON hotel.

We were offered to be moved to another hotel or be given the linens so we could change it. We were at that time too tired to move as we also had early plan. So we decided to change the linen ourselves and speak to the management first thing in the morning.

I am a 31 years old woman who is an Artist and Registered Nurse and my significant other is a 29 years old man who is a software developer. We calmly addressed the issues to the Assistant Manager around 9am on Dec 31. We were told that she is new and she has to ask her manager for assistance to make things right for us, and that we would get a callback from them.

So we headed out to do what we needed. We waited all day and didn't receive a phone call from them. So we decided to go back at 430pm to discuss the issues.

We stated our expectations "To be moved to another hotel for the remaining one night. And request for the full refund of the whole stay."

We waited till 530pm, Jacque Conley, General Manager, spoke to us. She stated clearly that she is sorry for our experience and that one night refund is the max she could do.

We packed our suitcases and found another hotel on our own.

We do not trust the housekeeping because cleanliness is important to me.

With all the above said, this hotel is not at all Hilton Standard.

As a gold member with Expedia, I traveled across the world staying in many hotels with record of flying more than 21 times internationally in a year for vacations. I never encountered any situation like this. This was my first time. I called my Expedia Gold membership customer service for assistance.

After all, the management is inadequate and the housekeeping standard is unacceptable.

I called the Hilton Corporate Office and will continue to pursue to evaluate the staffing at management and the housekeeping and their standard at "Homewood Suites at Jacksonville DeerWood Park".

I am beyond disappointed at how everything had happened. However, we decided not to let this ruin our New Year.

We stayed at Best Western Premier Jacksonville Hotel for Dec 31 for New Year. It was a wonderful and clean property with pleasant staff. I would highly recommend...

We checked in on November 19th at 11:15 pm they charged us $225.00 for the room which was okay. Plus a $25 deposit. I was in the room for 15 min I got in the shower just after I put shampoo in my hair which is 3 ft long the hot water went off I had to literally get the ice bucket and get hot water out the kitchen sink and rinse shampoo out my hair I had to carry five ice buckets of water from the little kitchenette into the shower then the Wi-Fi didn't work the TV did not come on we told the front desk about it he said he would have somebody up there to fix it by the time I checked out the next day nobody still hadn't come to fix it show I called the customer service number when I got home and I made a they gave me points to cover $225 of a room I said no you're not giving me anything first of all I pay for your services and it was trash being the first time I've ever stayed in any of the Hilton hotels it was an extremely bad experience for myself and a friend of mine so like I was saying they wanted to give us points I told them nicely I did not want the points because they were not giving me anything they were just reimbursing me with points for a service that I paid highly for okay so then I finally got them to let's say refund cut me a check okay I called today for the first time and the first guy who answered customer service told me that my check was mailed on December 30thI said okay he said but it'll take 30 days to get there I said wait wait wait wait how is it how do you know how how how how how do you know how long it's going to take to get there you're saying anywhere that I live rather be here or Japan or Hawaii it's going to take 30 days no matter where I live there's no way of him knowing that I'm sorry so I asked to speak to someone else and his guy basically said that my check was not mailed on December 30th it was approved on December 30th I said okay will I need to speak to your Superior this man told me that he could not give me his superior's name and his Superior would not speak to me I said okay well where is your corporate office located and please give me the number he said he couldn't do that I said why he said I'm just telling you we're not supposed to do that and I wanted to tell him something else and the man just politely hung up in my face yes he did I have both their names sad thing is right when he hung up on me I didn't even try to call back I went online and I pulled up the corporate office I pulled up the the guy who's ahead of the corporate office and I'm fixing to send him an email 225 cash out of my hand it took them all of 5 minutes and they're still not giving me my deposit back the guy who's at the top of the line at the headquarters the CEO I'm going to write him a nice little email here let him know I'll get my money all I can say is Hilton is not made up what it's supposed to be I paid a lot of money for that room the only reason I did it was because it was a it was a reason behind it and we had to get a room quickly so I wasn't going to post a review but I'm tired I'm tired of them giving me the runaround you all have a...
