Iāve been staying at this location almost consecutively since September 2024 and the standard of excellence has not changed.
Intro: Upon arrival, valet is warm and welcoming. Itās nice to see familiar faces, I get excited itās like seeing old friends. New faces fit right in as well.
Check-in process (including Ritz-Kids): Moving on to front desk, phenomenal customer service, this trip I brought my kiddos and did the Ritz Kids check-in experience, they received their passport stamp on their Ritz-Carlton passport, along with their own drawstring Ritz-Carlton backpacks - filled with a yummy treat, coloring pages, their own Leo the Lion plushy, crayons and during this process, my children were greeted with smiles and oozing joy at this point. I was able to check-in seamlessly with Benji and Morgan. They were so delightful, patient, welcoming, I adore coming into town and being created by such excellent staff! We actually flew in from Palm Beach (South FL) and got in a bit earlier than anticipated and my kiddos and I were kindly accommodated for - we were fine just heading to the Galleria and grabbing lunch but staff was so kind to let us check-in.
Room (above & beyond): Our room was pristine, as always. Filled with balloons for us, as this trip I brought the kids to celebrate a 11year old birthday and 4th grade graduation! A handwritten card was there, personal Ritz-Carlton travel bags, the customer experience was incredible. The attention to detail and how they handled my celebration request with care, speaks to the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner integrity and standard.
Luggage: The Bellman brought our bags up and set them up for us, took less than 10 minutes for our bags to get to our room.
Amenities (on-site): Amenities were fabulous as always, we hit the lovely indoor pool and jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym and game room every single day of our week stay!! Can you tell how much we enjoyed ourselves?
Room service overload: Now letās talk room service - we may have went a little overboard with ordering every day, multiple times a day. The menu is delicious! Offering everything for kids and adults to enjoy. My faves are the Dumplingns, braised short rib and truffle fries! We also had breakfast: Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, eggs Benny, crispy bacon, my goodness it was lovely! The service was quick and it was delivered to our door and set up with a smile! I remember one morning we had the same server at this point she came in and rolled in the cart and woke my kids up by singing good morning, smell the crispy bacon and the yummy waffles Lol I mean it was like a movie we became so close that we got excited when she came by the room.
Shuttle service: We also enjoyed the Shuttle service thatās provided. Alfred was amazing as usual and itās great to see that heās still around. Great driving, attention to detail and always has a upbeat smile. It was nice to leave the car in valet not have to worry about parking and just have the ease of sitting back and enjoying the view!
Entyse dining: Entyse was also delicious. No one makes an old-fashioned like they do! The food was great. I was able to dine in for breakfast and dinner and we all enjoyed ourselves overall our stay was a 10 out of 10 and I will aways be a Ritz Carlton ambassador to my friends, family, and strangers! Thank you for a positive. Customer experience and I look forward to my stay next month!
(Canāt forget being greeted in the lobby with bubbly!...

Iām glad the company eventually dealt with it after my persistence in having to write to important people in the company through LinkedIn to forward to someone who would help.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had a very unfortunate experience with the Ritz-Carlton that has not been resolved, and the hotel has made it clear by their lack of responsiveness and accountability that they did not care about the effect of their negligence on a customer.
We had moved rooms due to a noise issue after our check in. (The hotel was also under construction and the lobby not usable.) When we arrived into the room, the manager on duty, Jericho Lubag who wrote an email informing me āI have set up a special amenity for your stay for the inconvenienceā which was a nice gesture.
In the room, we found a box of macarons on the desk and a package of gum drop candies. We ate the macarons and unfortunately, on March 26, I ate the round gummy candy, which turned out to THC and was a hallucinogen.
According to my doctor, it appeared that I had not only been poisoned but also overdosed by about 5x a dosage with when I came to be seen and had the package looked at. I tripped for nearly 9 hours and struggled with my work trip, the reason for my stay, the following days.
Iām shocked that the room was either stocked with or did not clean items left behind, which is not befitting of the Ritz nor the standards of any hotel.
My husband had to return from where we were working on a shoot further south in Virginia to come retrieve me and move me from the room at the Ritz. He attempted to talk with a manager on the day of our check out and was not able to reach one. That evening, he called 4 times and did not receive a return call. I was incapacitated for hours, felt like I was dying or in hell and very embarrassed to have to be seen by some working for me under those circumstances, still hallucinating.
Eventually, later, after insisting to speak to a manager after 10 hours, we were only referred me to Mohammed, head of security. It took more than a week for Mohammed to call me back and explain what happened to him.
Mohammed had me speak to a woman at the Marriott Claims corporate office in Maryland who told me she would be able to cover some days of a future stay and that she would reach back out the following week but did not. When I called her at that phone number the week after, it was not in service. I called customer service, called the corporate office to no avail. I contacted a Marriott customer service manager named Taywana who tried to help me as much as she could but wasnāt able to do anything except call the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner. Taywana said Mohammed would call me again but he never did reach out again.
I sent messages through their Marriott Bonvoy, which I am a member of.
So after 14 times reaching out to managers, customer service, claims people, online (terrible app), Iāve been put off again and not helped in this situation.
I am truly shocked at what happened to me, as everyone else Iāve spoken to about the situation, and Iām surprised at how uncaring and unresponsive the company has been.
Needless to say, I would not recommend the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner nor...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRitz Carlton Tysonās Corner provided the highest level of hospitality. It was truly a five star experience.||||RECEPTION|| Valets were courteous and attentive. Bell services were quick to offer help with the bags and although there was a little bit of a wait, check in was a breeze. Front desk staff acknowledged my AmEx FHR booking and provided a welcome letter outlining the various FHR perks.||||FOOD AND BEVERAGE||Tasty breakfast in the restaurant with impeccable service. Did not dine on property for other meals as there are many restaurants in and around the Galleria including Yard House and Fogo de ChĆ£o.||||ROOMS||Spacious and tastefully appointed. Nothing not to like except for the bathrooms which were smallish for a 5-star hotel and include the 80ās starter home hall bath layout: one sink, toilet next to standard shower/tub combo. If you are a dude, you are going to want to bring your own toiletries. The body wash and lotion supplied in the room are stinky⦠simply the worse scent ever! Definitely good for birth control.š¤£Surprisingly, the toiletries in the menās locker room are totally different and smell so much better, so you may want to shower down in the spa if you forget your own stuff.||||FITNESS CENTER||Glorious! Everything you could ask for in a hotel gym: dumbbells; kettle bells; barbells; Smith Machine; Cable machines; machines for chest, shoulders, back, and leg extensions. Full compliment of cardio machines but didnāt love the ellipticals because only the resistance is adjustable but not the incline, so glutes wonāt be recruited and you donāt get that full range of motion in your legs. Complementary fruit is a nice touch, but Iām not a fan of fresh fruit in areas with no oversight or surveillance. ||||As it turns out, dumbbells only go to 50 lbs. The expectation is dumbbells to 100 lbs in better hotel gyms.||||SPA||Pretty good for a non-resort spa and the ladies in there are great. They ensured I had everything needed. I had an 80-minute deep tissue massage from Nona and she did an outstanding job. If you request a deep tissue massage from Nona, be prepared to man up! She is going to bring the pressure and really get in there and work out those knots. I highly recommend her! Excellent steam room and adequate shower facilities. Lockers are not full length, so you may want to get two if you are bringing a change of clothes and donāt want them wrinkled.||||Overall, the hospitality here is simply the best I have ever experienced. Every employee I encountered offered a warm greeting. ||||From the front desk to the spa, champagne here flows freely, which may explain why the congress canāt submit a balanced budget! (LOL) If the bubbly stuff is your jam, you will have ample opportunity to indulge.||||The one negative here is the love affair with single use plastic water bottles. So many employees were quick to offer them up from the valets to the spa attendants as if we were back in 1995! To be fair, that has been my experience with some other hotels and resorts on the east coast that havenāt made the move to refillable aluminum and water machines on each floor. Each plastic bottle of water contains 250,000 pieces of microplastics, so bring your own metal water bottles if you want to be kind to the environment and...
