Wentworth Gallery at Tysons Galleria — Attraction in Tysons

Beautiful pieces and a wonderful variety (prices included). I am giving a one star review for customer service ONLY. I was not greeted when I entered the store, not even an acknowledging smile. A Caucasian man walks in after me and she greets him. She and I make eye contact immediately because I turned around so abruptly. She knew she was racial profiling. I did not buy anything and neither did the gentleman that entered after me, and yet he was made to feel important while I was overlooked and made to...

Don’t be fooled! They invite you to meet artist so and so and promote the event heavily. Then when you arrive they tell you onky those who purchase meet the artist. Pay to play is common in the art world, but maybe should be advertised accurately. My 5 year old was very sad and we could have saved that headache.

Also, their prices are high and we have found that their so called experts are usually less than familiar with the artist

If you want to buy art, go somewhere...

I had a very good experience here some time ago. There was a painting I really wanted and Michelle showed great patience and worked with me to be able to offer me the painting at an affordable price. To me, she really honored what the gallery’s mission states. I continue to love the painting I got here....
