We played 1 full game & attempted a 2nd. We reported issues and waited patiently for them to be resolved numerous times without resolution and decided to just leave. Not worth the $100+ we spent at all.
100% racist vibes here! Our lane should have been switched after the 2nd complaint. Instead we wasted over 40+ minutes sitting in a broken lane, complaining and then leaving for them to try to switch our lane.
Never again.
Unfortunately the environment and staff were not welcoming. We had been so excited to bring my husband to celebrate his birthday. We tried to bowl during the lunar bowl. The bartender was incredibly rude to my husband, and the customer service was ridiculous. We got through 1 game plus 4 rolls of the 2nd game in 2 hours. The lane malfunctioned over 6x. Initially I went to the counter and the attendant said hed get someone to fix it. Took about 10mins, no problem its an old alley. 2nd-5th time they radio someone the lane takes its time eventually resets. The 6th time, my husband goes up and they say they reset it, he walks back over to our lane(directly in front of them) sits for 10mins, nothing changes with the lane. We make eye contact with the attendant several times as we attempt to allow them to work on it and have patience without being a bother/interrupting the convo they continue to have. I walk back over its been 15mins/20mins by this time (time is of the essence, the lane has not changed. They say oh its switched off now, maybe we should just switch your lane. By this time we have about 45mins of bowling left. we are paying to do unlimited bowling) we've gotten through 1 game. We are fed up and leave. Read moreThis center is frustrating. I really want to like it- approaches are maintained well, it’s near me and I like the layout. However - they VERY seldomly oil the lanes, they overcharge to a ridiculous extent ($6.50 on weekends last time I was there), the pinsetters constantly have issues across the alley, I’ve had numerous issues with my equipment getting scuffed by the returns, and the staff have been generally unpleasant.
I don’t want this to come off as pure complaining; I understand maintenance costs are high, but the level of neglect plus exorbitant prices makes this feel like the consumer is getting gouged to a ridiculous extent. If there were ANY level of competition in the immediate area then they’d have a reason to improve. We showed up at about 9:45 and it looked dead but the door and website said they were still open so we waited till 10 for the event to start to go in and at about 9:58 we went to go in the doors were locked so we called and they said "we close early if no one is there 30 mins prior" even though people were walking out with bowling shoes and balls who were clearly bowling and like 3 cars pulled into the parking lot at 10 and we had to tell one of them they were closed. Very disappointed need to update website and the door signs.
