Feels silly to write a review for a Starbucks because, well… it's Starbucks. It's a corporate coffee chain, and each product you get will taste exactly the same every time. That’s kind of the point. Still, I think this one deserves a shoutout.
Since school started back up, I’ve been coming to this location to study and get homework done. Over the past few months, it’s honestly started to feel like a second home. The iced matcha latte always hits, the Wi-Fi is fast and free, and the music’s consistently good.
Big shoutout to Denni! last week, I had a small issue with a drink, and today she bought my drink for me and apologized without me even bringing it up. That felt like a genuinely kind gesture and a really pleasant surprise. I already thanked her in person, but she deserves another thank-you here.
Side note: The only change I’d love to see inside would be a small standing desk option. Nothing fancy, even a cheap one from IKEA would do. Since I’m here for hours a few times a week and already work a sit-down office job, it’d be nice to have the option to switch it up. Just...
Read moreI don’t know why this location is so off key with every other Starbucks in Cincinnati. I spoke to a manager regarding two coffees that were made horribly wrong last weekend and was told I would receive a credit for both coffees, and a refund for both considering I was in the drive thru for 25 minutes for one of them and the second one, the girl working the drive thru and was horribly rude. I went in today and was told by someone else I was not getting the refund, only the credits — whatever, I just wanted a coffee. They tell me it’s made exactly how I asked and it 100% is not. This coffee is horrendously disgusting. I ask for the same exact thing at every location and this is the only one that cannot pull through, I do not get it. Will...

Honestly, this is my go to Starbucks. But today, my mobile order bag had some other person's food (Devyn, sorry about your ham and swiss croissant) in addition to mine, so I had pulled it out not realizing.
Anyway, I realize, and I take it back into the store. They don't remake the food - they take it, shout "Devyn!" and slap that touched ham and swiss croissant down on the table! I was like, "uh but I touched that..." but they didn't care so I left and wrote this review. So gross!!!!
Edit: to make it worse, I had touched a dead stray cat I had to clean up just like an hour before. So...yeah, gross. Sorry Devyn....
