After getting of a lease with Scion FRS I was in the market for to lease or finance a new car for myself One day I was surfing for a Camaro on internet and came across Open Road Chevrolet, looking through their Web Page I saw a car that I truly wanted. So I decided to give it one more try to get a car, and boy I thank God I did. Made a phone call to the dealer and was told that the car is available. I was happy to hear that, so i decided to go to the Open Road Chevrolet. From the moment I walked in the dealership I was treated with the out most respect and remarkable customer service, everyone was so friendly and made me feel like home, coffee, water seat offered as soon as I walked in. I spoke to the sales person on the phone Adonis and the receptionist told me that he will be right with me, not even 5 minutes went by and Mr. Adonis greeted me in the way as if he has known me forever but we just meet. He got to the point right-away, got my information at the same time General Manager Gregg greeted me respectfully and arranged the Camaro SS for a test drive... I was blown away by such service and felt at ease unlike ever at any dealership "I knew I was in good hands". The entire team got together, even the Finance Manager Igor came at the desk that me and my daughter where sitting and went over some numbers and scenarios that this deal could work, no one demanded anything other than asking me at what range of payments I was looking to stay and if I want to put any money down, would I like to lease or finance, I mean who does that.... I saw so many dealers and no, no one asked anything like at the Open Road dealership, other dealers where just throwing numbers at me with total disregard of anything humanly. Adonis was always present making us comfortable as General Manager Gregg and Finance Manager Igor where looking into my application. This was Tuesday, October 16th 2018 it was getting late so they said that due to my credit they will need little more time to figure out the deal so very politely explained that I can leave for the day but they will get back to me as soon as they have news for me. I left very satisfied, happy and full of trust that they will do their best for me and so i did. I got a call from Gregg on Wednesday October 17th 2018 saying that they still working on the deal and will have an answer for me on Thursday. Thursday afternoon, Gregg called me with the best news ever "Mr. Nick, the deal went trough, when can you come in to sign and pick up the car (2018 Camaro SS) I was in disbelieve, speechless, I said Gregg, I cant believe you made this happen, the earliest I can get there would be Saturday as I work all day Friday. He assured me that the car will be there, and Saturday is fine. I went to Open Road Chevrolet Saturday and in less than an hour I was in the New 2018 Camaro SS My DREAM CAR. Do not come here. Everything about my experience with this dealership was unacceptable, from start to finish.
First off, the car salesman didnāt even know basic details about the vehicle I was interested in ā I actually knew more about the car than he did, which completely blew my mind. Despite that, I went ahead and signed all the necessary paperwork three days in advance to make the pickup process faster.
The day I came to pick up the car, all they cared about was collecting the money. I told them Iād gladly pay ā once I had a chance to see the car I was buying. When they finally brought it out, I was shocked. The vehicle was filthy, covered in scratches, and didnāt look remotely like a brand-new 2025 model. Iāve purchased many vehicles before and have never had an experience this unprofessional.
To make things worse, I had already spoken to the store manager a couple of hours beforehand. He assured me that the car would be pulled up front and ready to go. But when I arrived, the car wasnāt ready, and the salesman didnāt even know I was coming. I ended up waiting three hours, despite doing everything days ahead of time.
Adding insult to injury ā while shopping at this dealership, my phone was stolen. Whether it was a customer or employee, I donāt know. But when I informed the manager, Felix, he couldnāt have cared less. I asked him to reach out to corporate to review the cameras, especially considering the amount of money I was spending, and he completely brushed me off. After that, he avoided me for the rest of the transaction. Making the whole situation really shady. Wouldnāt you want make one of your customers feel confident that your staff didnāt steal or take someoneās cell phone especially when I was the last customer at the store that day. No, they could care less, making me feel as though they did it and thatās why they didnāt make any effort to make me feel confident they didnāt take my phone.
As for the scratched and dirty vehicle? It took them eight hours to wash, wax, and buff it ā meaning I was left carless the entire day after paying thousands of dollars. The joy of buying a new car was completely ruined.
To top it all off, they use an outdated system. When I went to make the payment, my full Social Security number was printed and left in plain view on the desk, while the receptionist processed my payment in front of a lobby full of people. Thatās a serious privacy concern and totally unacceptable.
This dealership needs to be investigated. What I went through was unprofessional, disorganized, and downright shady. Thereās so much that went wrong ā I wouldnāt recommend this...

As soon as I walk in there with my own check to pay for my car. Another guy by the name of rasheed, cutthroat him and took his sale then they was asking for personal information like a social security number, just to get license plates when we call a motor vehicle and they told us several times that all they needed was our Driver's license. They are really nice to you. When they're trying to sell you a car, but then soon as you pay for the car. All of that niceness go out the window. They don't return calls, they are very rudeThe manager was yelling at my wife and actually hung up on her a few times in heated conversation about her personal info that they didn't need the whole process was a mess. We had to fill out paperwork 4 times they wanted my wife's information then they wanted my information just to pull the truck off the lot. They was telling us if they didn't get to check from our bank in time that we will be forced to use a bank that we did not choose. After they told us that they don't hit our credit several times they only will hit our credit one time we get home to find out they hit our credit 10 times They are very unprofessional, the way they do business. They did not want to give me wet match for my car. They did not want to give me a license plate holder for my car. They just got our money then treated us as if we meant nothing to their company. I would never use these people again. Ever There are plenty of car dealers on route 22. I suggest you keep trying other ones.Felix and Rasheed and Mike are liars if you do go there talk to George he handles the DMV paper work he is very nice and respectful overall I give this place one star these guys lack professionalism manners and they talk to you as if you know nothing about cars when we happen to have owned 10 in our lifetime this was a stressful experience no one apologized to my wife for there...
