This is supposed to be a 1-star rating, but let me tell you why it's a 3-star rating instead...
I ordered 1 Jolly Spaghetti with Pineapple juice, 3 Cheeseburgers, 1 Peach Mango Pie. The order was placed at 734pm, my number was #815.
The number being served was in the low 600's so I went to my car and watched YouTube videos (I kept busy because I knew it was going to be a longggg wait). 45 minutes later I came back to check and it was still in the mid 600's, so I went back to the car. Another 45 minutes later I came back to check and it was in the high 600's. I noticed that there was hardly anyone in line anymore; the people behind me when we were lined up seemed long gone.
I spoke to the lady who was manning the entrance when I first came in. I said "I'm not complaining, I know it's your first day, but it's been 90 minutes and my number is nowhere close. Can I just cancel and get a refund?" She seemed mortified; an assistant just immediately started assembling my order. She even asked me if I wanted anything else for the inconvenience. I asked for a Spicy Chicken sandwich. They gave me two! Before I left, I remembered that they hadn't given me Pineapple juice. She asked how many I ordered. I said one, she gave me two! For the stellar customer service, they should get 5-starts. It wasn't their fault the POS machine gave me an out of this world #815 number so I'm not taking that against them.
Why 3-starts still? I thought I was ordering three Burger Yums with Cheese (aka Cheeseburgers) but apparently they don't offer that, so I was actually served three Angus Cheeseburgers. The lady DID tell me (while I was waiting for them to assemble my order) when I asked about it, so it's not like it was a surprise when I got home to eat my order. The taste of the beef itself was superb, a little too salty, but charred well...yet ultimately not my type. I really wanted Burger Yum with Cheese otherwise I would have ordered something else. I'm home now and realized they never gave me a Peach Mango Pie :( ...and THAT is a real bummer. Now I have Spaghetti + Pineapple juice (my #1 faves!), three burgers I'm not fond of, two Spicy Chicken sandwiches I'm not fond of, no...
Read moreI want to preface this by letting you know that I have experienced Jolibee at other locations. Today I drove past this fast food restaurant for the umpteenth time and decided that I would give this Jolibee one last chance to redeem itself, (since my last two encounters were abosolutely horrible). I should've kept on driving! It's about 5pm, and I get on line for the drive through, and although there were only 4 cars ahead of me I sat in that line for 25 minutes before I decided to park my car and go inside, because I was determined to give this particular Jolibees another chance. I walked inside, there were only two people ahead of me waiting for their orders, two cashiers, and a kitchen full of staff, and what looked like to be two managers. You would think I would have been in and out, but no! I stood at the counter for another 15 minutes before someone acknowledged me. Both of the individuals waiting for their orders looked highly annoyed as the staff is running around trying to figure out where their orders were. I finally get asked what I would like to order; all I wanted was a bucket of spicy chicken. To be then told that I'll have to wait another 20 minutes because they've run out of spicy chicken!🙄😠 I have years of experience customer service in the hospitality industry; and I must say that this franchise is the worst! It should be shut down and the staff should be retrained. Needless to say, Jolibee has lost me for good, I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Thanks...
Read moreThis is mainly a review about the stellar SERVICE. The first time I've had Jollibee was about 10 years ago in the Philippines. I had no clue one was coming here but I had to go once my brother told me this morning that it was open.
When I pulled up to this place around 630pm it was PACKED. There were barely any spaces to park and the drive thru line was laughable so I parked and walked in. The line inside was also crazy and I thought I would be there for a long time. The guy who took my order was surprisingly fast and efficient. I'm observing the management team him what items are in stock and out of stock due to bucket sizes. I see a guy taking out trays of chicken yelling BEHIND. The way everyone moved out of the way in synch you would think he was Chicken Moses.
After my order was placed I noticed all of the red rectangles of food being prepped. I THOUGHT I was going to wait a long while as I got a fresh made to order yum burger, fries, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, biscuits, 6 piece bucket and a strawberry bliss. Within a matter of minutes my food was done (they forgot my frozen drink but it was quickly corrected). I was able to make it back home and start eating BEFORE 7pm. For the amount of people that I saw there I am VERY impressed that a new store was that efficient.
Kudos to the whole team but specifically Amani, Berna, and the girl that ran off to make my frozen drink (I forget...
