Absolutely horrible experience I ordered today on the ihop app , at first it kept saying error in cart for over 30 minutes finally after it actually worked and charged me . I get notifications that they started the order and etc . I ordered at 110 pm and it said no later then 2 pm delivery which isn’t bad at all well 2pm comes and my food hasn’t even gotten a delivery driver yet ,so I call and ask if it’s updated on there end with a driver and they say no . Another 40 minutes goes by and the email updates to a new delivery time mind you it’s already 240 so I call again and they tell me pretty much nothing and about 5 minutes later I get a text that it’s on it’s way and will be there at 310 well 310 comes and no food so I call again and pretty much they say it’s not there problem and that it’s in the delivery service not they . Which is absolutely incorrect I directly ordered threw ihop not there delivery service o and I forgot to mention I managed the ihop in Franklin township so I know exactly what there protocol is for this situation and I should have received a refund or a new order should have been made no customer should ever wait over two hours for food it’s not even safe to eat after that period of time !!!! Highly disappointed and I’ll make sure everyone I know at corporate hears about this encounter with this ihop !!! Ihop never conducts themselves like that and would never allow a franchise to operate under these type of situations ! Also they refused to put a manager on the phone which I find funny because at all times epically a holiday they have 3 managers on duty the kitchen managers and a floor manager and a junior manager !!! Read moreIt was mid afternoon, a few booths were occupied. There was ONE server and ONE cook. Even for midafternoon, that seems understaffed. The food was good. Eggs were cooked perfectly (that's important at a "breakfast" spot). It's Ihop - how can you go wrong? There were things that were unsatisfactory. My husband walks with a cane. Rather than quickly clean off one if the rables closest to the door, we were seated in the LAST booth, furthest away from the door and the bathrooms. When asked what we would like to drink, both asking for coffee, we were informed they were out. OUT OF COFFEE at a pancake house? Ooops. When server brought our drinks, they left the "silverware" - which was plastic... we were given carry-out utensils. I assumed it was a mistake, so when our foid was delivered I asked for metal utensils, but was told they didnt have any. IT'S A RESTAURANT. A little later, we were given additiinal napkins, so I asked how they could be out of forks. Apparently the disgwasher didnt show up, so no utensils. OK. Annoying, but what can you do. Then my husband noticed that a couple tables seated after us were using metal flatware. 😳 I was trying to be understanding; in fact, I was sincerely polite. I went up front to pay the bill, tipped appropriately. Then after the transaction was complete, I turned to go back to our table and discovered an entire bussers tub filled with paper envelopes of metal flatware.
They had no dishwasher, so that means those were sitting there throughout our entire meal!!
I WAS NOT HAPPY. I WAS VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED. I hate eating with plastic utensils and dishes!

I could have said something but I didn’t because technically, it was my responsibility to look at what I was paying. Beware when paying with Card make sure you look at what you’re being charged for. I did not realize that the tip was already included. We were a party of six, but I feel like my server at the time of charging me with his personal tablet could’ve let me know. Hey, the tip is already included. I basically always tip 20% but I did not realize that the tip was already included. The server failed to notify me and I ended up paying $70 of tip at a freaking IHOP. I guess I bless this man for the moment, but I will definitely pay attention for next time and this is definitely a learning lesson for me from now on. I have to check my receipt. I could’ve said something while I was still at the restaurant. I’m not gonna lie it threw me off and I left pissed. He could’ve notified me. He basically I feel like he did it on purpose because of how quick he was he just quickly showed me the total I just signed, and then I applied the tip without letting me actually see that the tip was already included.
