“I had reserved an 8th Birthday Party at this location for my son, Ryan, by his choice and preference on February 26, 2024. It was supposed to be a special one because he was born on February 29, 2016, Leap Day, and this year, 2024, happened to be a Leap year as well. The party was scheduled for Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm for a total of 10 kids.
I received a courtesy call the following day, February 27, 2024, from a staff member thanking me for booking and informing me that someone else would be contacting me prior to the party to explain the balance and make any necessary changes to the booking. Two days later, on February 29, 2024 the day of my son’s birthday, I received a call from a gentleman named Adam (General Manager) from this location. He informed me of the balance, which I was already aware of, and asked if I wanted to add any pizza, drinks, or snacks for the guests to the reservation. I told him that I believed I had already added two pizzas to the reservation initially, one plain and one pepperoni. However, he stated that there were no pizzas added to the reservation. I found this odd because I could have sworn that I had added two pizzas, which were already included in the remaining balance initially given to me.
He rudely reiterated that there were no pizzas and asked if I wanted to order them or if he should cancel the party. In response, I expressed my frustration, stating, ‘Really? Are you kidding me right now?’ He then abruptly informed me that he was canceling the party and hung up the phone.
Immediately, I called my sister and explained the situation, asking her to call and try to resolve it. She called the location, and a young lady confirmed that the party had not been canceled but that there were indeed no pizzas on the reservation. My sister realized that she had made the initial reservation for me because, as I mentioned, I’m not skilled at such tasks. She added the pizzas to the reservation, and I received a new email with the updated details and confirmation code.
On the night of March 2nd, 2024, the day before the party, I decided to add three more kids to the guest list. My sister called again, but the employee informed her that there was no reservation under our name, phone number, or even the confirmation code provided earlier. It turned out that Adam (General Manager) had canceled my son’s party without notifying me.
The next morning, Adam reached out to my sister, claiming that we had mutually agreed to cancel the party, which was a complete lie. Otherwise, why would we have called back to add the pizzas, received a new confirmation number, and made plans to add more guests? When she mentioned a cancelation email or call was not received. He replied that he had refunded the deposit, but it’s unreasonable to expect someone to check their credit card statements daily, especially when not anticipating a refund.
I’m grateful we found out the day before the party because it allowed us to make alternative arrangements. After some last-minute searching, we purchased tickets at Altitude Trampoline Park in Feasterville for a much lower price. My sister stayed back to decorate the house and buy pizza and goodies for the guests. After two hours of jumping and playing at Altitude, we returned home and celebrated, saving about $200 in total.
I had planned to apologize to Adam for my aggression, even though he initiated the confrontation. However, it seems that opportunity will never arise. I believe he owes me an apology for attempting to ruin my son’s birthday party, especially considering the challenges I’m facing in my personal life. As someone who spent 18 years as a retail manager, I understand the importance of handling such situations with professionalism...
Read moreI’ve been to plenty urban airs & I truly love them! However - this location … no words. Everywhere my kiddos & I went the manager (assuming he was in all black & walkied up) was there too. First incident was in dodgeball area - there was no sense of organization and kids running feral .. my one kid got hit directly in the eye and fell down - maybe down 5/10 seconds & manager comes over upset that he was sitting on the trampoline with no one else on it just trying to recollect himself after having that ball hit his eyeball. I demanded he stood up even though he was hurt & took him to another section. Then we go to zip line … people in line ahead and behind us … why did my two get to the front of the line & was told in a not nice tone to get out of line, no harness and they can’t wait over there….so I’m thinking this person is gonna have everyone get out of line. not to my surprise … the worker did NOT remove anyone from line & allowed those guests to still wait … I asked three people in line if they were waiting for the blue harness. They were …. So why were my kids told to move & no one else’s? I let it go .. because today is solely about the kids (they woke up to sad news today) Now we’re by the kids jungle thing my youngest goes in that - mind you she was in and out all day with all the staff seeing her go in & legit speaking to her .. He came over to remove her … okay, cool. Now we go back to the full on trampolines … kids are jumping EVERYWHERE I take my 3 to the back by the wall and put them each in their own spot - well other children come jumping all over - and they are not my kids to control sadly … but what happens? Manager comes over & simply speaks to my kid about only one kid per square. Then sends over the last working that area to say something else to us at this point …. We weren’t even there for more than an hour . …. Maybe he was having a bad day? I’m not sure. But as someone who works with children daily I do know when kids have fun sense of control is lost - that being said - as the manager rather than confronting children .. speak to 1. The parent, & 2. Maybe set boundaries in place for your facility to prevent issues. If you have 20 jumping squares then only let 20 kids in, and rotate them out. If your staff is allowing kids to continue running and jumping - is it really a 2, 3, 4 year olds fault? No. This entire time this young looking man was watching my family - you had adults & kids in the foam pits with slushies, teens jumping in their sandals … & honestly? I wouldn’t be this upset if the manager who is an adult confronted me as the adult about whatever he felt my kids were doing wrong & then as two adults we handle it, and if applicable I will absolutely correct them. But seemingly following us, ONLY confronting children in my group was absolutely not okay in my eyes. Hoping it was maybe just a bad day & that this will not happen in future. I will say the gentlemen doing food today was an absolute delight, the front desk people were amazing, and then worker at one of the stations who apologized for manager was also truly amazing & kind. First time at this location & it was absolutely not fun …. But will possibly give it another chance in the future & if good, rewrite my review...
Read moreI went here with my family and it's 6 of us. The website gives you the impression this place is huge, but it's not.
It's a replica of Sky Zone with a zip line around the location, wall climbing, small jungle gym, and off the ground zip line to walk across a maze in the air.
It was quite expensive for admission. $150.00 for our family and to pay $5 for a locker for 3 hours. We didn't buy food and masks were encouraged not required. Some staff had on masks, some didn't, some wore it over their mouths.
There was trash in some areas so it could've been cleaner.
Reservations are required on weekends and we went on a Sunday when they opened. We were told there is a 2 hour time slot which is ridiculous when spending the amount we did, but he said that's because they reach max capacity quick. But if we arrived early then it shouldn't be an issue with them announcing our wrist band color would need to leave the floor until around 1ish. I guess that was an estimate on when they could reach max capacity. By 12 noon, we were ready to go. There wasn't much else to do.
No one checked our wrist bands for each area but height was checked for certain attractions. There are height limit signs for all the different areas.
I didn't feel the toddler zone was really toddlerish for a 2 year old. It would be nice if they knocked out one of their main party rooms or removed some of the party tables to create a real toddler area, as she cried to want to get into the warrior zone which was a obstacle course over a ball pit. She wanted to jump in. The jungle gym was too big and there were too many older kids running around her. I would suggest a real toddler zone for younger children. They labeled the toddler area or jungle gym as 7 and younger but on the website it says 5 and younger but all ages are running through it. My child would've been happy with just a ball pit.
Would we return? Not unless we were going with another family in a year or so but there is only so many times you can go to these places before your children are like, ok, I'm bored. Again, slightly different things then Skyzone.
3 stars means "it's okay"....there were also 2 attractions not working that would've made a difference. Not much monitoring, no one was checking wristbands, and there were alot of young workers like they were in highschool. My daughter complained that she felt like they didn't want to work as she needed help trying to get off the zip line at one point, but we didn't experience what some other reviewers said with the lower ratings about service. I think the manager who was an older gentleman...
