If there was a possibility of rating 6 Stars, it would be here. This restaurant has been in the business for over 32 years. If anything in the dining community, longevity is the direct result of quality food. This food is not just great, it is moderately priced. The staff are knowledgeable in their craft and generous of their quantity. From the time you enter this wonderful restaurant, all your surroundings are of Chinese decent. From the saltwater fishtank in the middle of the servers area to the very ceilings above you; it speaks Asian design. If you are a diner who is without company, your surroundings will keep you quite entertained by all the different designs on the walls. They do serve alcoholic beverages from wine and beer to top shelf liquor ( very freely poured). They offer a more than modest assortment of Japanese cuisine from Miso soup, fresh sushi (large selection), to teriyaki and tempura dishes. They continue down the trail to Chinese appetizers (13) different items, a selection of 9 soups, 14 Lo Mein and Chow Mein noodles. Then you get overwhelmed by the Meat, Poultry and Seafood dishes; before you even get to the Chefs Specials. A modest 18 options of sheer delight; finishing up with lychee nuts (not on the menu) to the typical fortune cookie. There is ample seating in this restaurant and even leg room in the booths. There is no " packing customers in", quite the opposite. There are actually gifts to buy such as cathedral geodes to small Chinese book markers.

You can't go wrong here. I have been going here for 20 years. They have had an amazing fish tank for all those years. The interior is very cool to have lunch or dinner. The one gentleman who makes sushi is a pro. I've eaten sushi many places. He never dissapoints and I make sure to tip him everytime. He usually works evenings during the week and on Friday. Their Japanese menu is good.. I have had just about every maki roll, sushi roll and sashimi they have. The first place I have tried eel.. it was good but not for me.. they also have very good tempura. I have ordered many tempura items and they were always pretty impressive.. These pictures here are from a lunch I had there recently. It's called sizzling chicken and rice. This dish is very home and healthy. This tasted like something your mom made on a cold snowy day. Simple but delicious. Chicken and vegetables in a light white sauce with steamed rice. Their chicken rice soup is also something you could eat when you're sick. They have great egg rolls, fried rice, general jso chicken,, sesame chicken.. again you can't go wrong here.. This place is more than just a restaurant that popped up a few years ago. They have been serving the community with delicious affordable food for decades! The people will remember you and the consistency is great. This is the restaurant I compare all other American Chinese restaurants too. Give them a try. I've been leaving here satisfied for a decade

The food isn't as good as I remember from years past. We ordered lo mein w. Broccoli and string bean, a shrimp w. garlic sauce and broccoli and a special mixed seafood w. sizzling rice. We also asked for a pot of tea. Our server wasn't welcoming at all. He greeted us coldly and it took him ten additional min to bring our tea. The best thing here were the veg. Spring rolls which were made w. thin, crispy rice paper and were fried to perfection. The mixed seafood w sizzling rice had NO SIZZLE!! The seafood blend was nicely cooked but devoid of any flavor. It was mixed in a bland sauce that tasted like nothing. The lo mein w beans and broccoli was equally as bland. The string beans were steamed without any sauce and simply mixed into the lo mein. No flavor, no garlic, etc. The shrimp and broccoli was ok, nothing special that would compell me to order it again. The restaurant was clean as well as the restroom. It was a bit if a let down.

After seeing that some other local Chinese restaurants actually had slightly higher scores than China Garden Inn I felt that I need to add my two cents. I have been coming here for years now, and it is by far the best Chinese food around. I've tried a lot of the other spots in the area, many of which have slightly higher scores, but this place beats them all in my opinion. Their food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Their staff is always excellent too. Pre Covid dining in the restaurant was always fantastic. The atmosphere was always great whether it was a more quiet and less crowded night, or when it was loud and packed to the brim with patrons. Post covid, all of my take out orders have been great as well. Everything was always hot and tasty still, and ready in no time. I can't wait for the day that I can dine there in person again with my friends and family. Until then I'll keep supporting them with take out orders and I encourage everyone else to...
