Staying in this hotel for the first time, after visiting The Keswick Theater for a concert. The location is about 15-20 from the theater, and it's very easy to access the interstate, both coming and going. The contactless check-in and check-out through the app was nice, as was the ability to choose your room. We chose the 5th floor at the end of the hallway, and we had quiet night after returning to our room. In spite of some of the recent negative reviews, our room seemed clean with a modern style to it. The room was comfortable, with nice amenities, especially the shower gel and shampoo. In this price range, I think it's nicely appointed. So now the negative. As pleased as I was with the room, the common areas are in need of some serious renovations. The elevators and hallway were pretty horrible honestly. The hallway was absolutely filthy, with obvious stains everywhere. Our room door was so out of adjustment, you had to give it a very forceful slam just to close it, and it had obvious damage to it cosmetically. The interior of the elevator was so bad, it looked like it was out of order. Would I stay here again? Yes, simply because my room was nice. I do believe the other reviews, so it might be just the luck of the draw. But the common areas definitely do need attention, and I would hope management will address these short comings.

Stay here from 7/5-7/7, 2019 because of their good review. We are here to attend a funeral service. So my husband was trying to ironing the clothes this early morning. Before starting it, I have noticed the damaged hole at the end of the iron, but he though it should be fine. The hazard started, the first white top was fine, but the second white shirt starts to turn in light blue color. We were all in shock since we are in a hurry. We didn't iron the rest of clothes since we don't know what would happened. When we come back in the afternoon on 7/6, we were told they will take a look, after a long wait, they replace the broken iron but did nothing to our damage clothes. The clothes is not fancy, but since they provide a wrong iron, I believe they should at least clean the clothes, but we did not and do not receive any apology. Their room cleaning is slow too. We were out from 8:15 am -4:00 pm, but when we returned, the cleaning lady was only just about to knock on our door. And my first request was to get away from train noisy when I booked the room, but they still arranged us to stay next to thre noisy at room 509. Fortunately, we were too tired so we had good sleep even though I can still har the train noisy. The breakfast is ok, the French toast is hard to swallowed. Their banana is totally green. But the dark coffee is good.

There were two mice that ran across the floor. I started looking around the room and found that there’s actually a mouse trap in the room. So they know it’s an issue! I tried calling the front desk, and it rang off the hook. I called the the direct line to the hotel on my cell phone. I explained the problem to the person at the front desk. He said he could move me to another room but couldn’t guarantee there wouldn’t be mice there. I asked for a refund and he couldn’t do that and I asked for his name, he said umm and hung up the phone. Called the main line to Hilton Hotels and representative was able to escalate it and hotel to issue refund in the morning. Hopefully that is the case and will escalate if not. Front desk said he didn’t know there was a problem with mice which is an absolute lie as there are several reviews on here stating there is a mouse problem and a mouse trap in the room. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to booking. I’m a Hilton Diamond member and travel a lot for business. The service received and state of this hotel is completely unacceptable! This is an incredibly dirty and unfriendly hotel! I would NOT recommend!!! I checked out and stayed at a Marriott. Photo of mouse trap.

Based on our recent experience, I would like to offer some cautions if you chose to stay at this hotel.||Our initial room assignment was on the back side of the hotel. About 50 ft away is a rail line which we found ran about 5 times during the night. I found the noise to be disturbing but my wife did not. But the most significant problem was the door latch to the room. We were able to latch and deadbolt the door from the inside but latching the door from the outside we found was problematic. Unfortunately, the following day, as we were ready to leave for the day, we found it impossible to latch the door. After several attempts, we contacted the front desk and asked for a maintenance person to fix the problem. After about 30 min. the maintenance person arrived and concluded that he could not fix the problem and noted that there are other rooms in the hotel that he knew had this same problem and had not been fixed! We had to gather our things and go to another room but on the front side of the building-certainly a nuisance. Before moving in we double checked to make sure the door latched from the outside.||Later that day when we returned to the room, we noticed that the shade for the window was broken-it was down and could not be retracted. Another call to the front desk. The result was the repair could not be done that day and we did not want to move again, thinking the shade could be fixed within a day. Needless to say, the fix did not come that day until we again called the front desk. They told me that a shade had been ordered and was not yet in but they would get a shade from another room! Which they did.||But that was not the end of the story. After being out that day, when we returned, we found that the door to the room was ajar-the deadbolt was engaged so that whoever was in the room while we were gone for the day, must have done that as a convenience because they did not have a wedge door stop and used the deadbolt to keep the door open while going in and out-the maintenance person who replaced the shade or the cleaning person servicing the room. Either way that was a big mistake. Fortunately, nothing was taken from the room, most likely because the room was at the far end of the hallway and there was no room across the way. But this was a big mistake by one of the hotel staff.||Bottom line-we were inconvenienced, wasted a lot our our time and we wonder whether the management is paying attention to the problems in this hotel.||The rooms were clean and the hot breakfast was consistently good and...

Since I am a Hilton Honors member, I was greeted with a snack bag of bottled water and Tasty Cakes. I had booked the wrong date and it was a non refundable rate. However, they were able to change my date and move my initial deposit to my current reservation. ||Hotel is very convenient- right off the Willow Grove exit of the PA turnpike. Despite closeness to Easton Road, hotel was quiet. Loved the free parking. Very close to shopping and restaurants. No pool but I didn’t have time. Did have exercise equipment but I didn’t use it. ||I had a king bed room. It may have been accessible because there was a lot of room around the bed and in front of tv. There was also a sofa bed with table. Bed was very comfortable. Had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. If I had a doggie bag from a dinner out, I could bring the food home and reheat. Had a desk and chair so you do do work. (Not in pictures) Plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports on night stands and tv desk. Had luggage table and 3 drawers for storage. I don’t recall a closet with hangers - but it is summer and I didn’t have a clothes to hang up. There is a hook in the bathroom. My bathroom had a big shower, one sink. Had a variety of toiletries- face soap and in bottles hanging in bottles from the wall was hand soap, lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The shower was in the footprint of a tub so it was a nice size. Also had a short shelf that you can sit on if you need it. |Had a nice breakfast from 6 am to 10 am. With scrabbled eggs, pre made omelets, sausage (but not bacon) French toast, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, bread and bagels- something for most everyone. There is a small convenience section by from desk if you wanted TV dinners, snacks and beverages. For other meals, you would have to drive a short distance but there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and other stores. On the first floor there seemed to be several rooms with doorbells so I would assume those rooms were heating/visually accessible rooms The hotel seemed family friendly- there were a lot of families and couples.|I’d come here again for...

We checked in on a Monday. It was a very hot day in the Philadelphia area. Needed to run air conditioner continously. Tried to set fan to on vs auto position so the sound of the compressoer kicking on and off would not disturb our sleep. No matter what position it was on the fan would kick off when the compressor stopped running. This would happen every 15 to 20 minutes waking us up. Also the door to the room was not square with the jam and you had to push real hard to open it and it would make an extremely loud sound that all the rooms near by would here. To top it off, when we tried to leave the room Tuesday morning the lock mechanism failed and we were trapped in the room - imagine if there was a fire or medical emergency! Maintenance was sent up and was able to open the door from the outside with the electronic key card but could not get the door to open from the inside. We were staying for two nights so requested a different room. When we moved are belongings we noticed everything we had the room refridgerator was frozed and ruined. We told the three people at the front desk about this and all the demonstrated was apathy and suggested the temp setting might need adjusted! Night two - same thing with the room air conditioner plus it would not cool below 70. After an early breakfast we grabbed a luggage card and took the elevator to the 5th floor. Upon arrival, only the inside half of the elavater door opened - not the outside so it appeared we were now stuck on the elevator! We were able to take the elevator down to the 4th floor, exit and get the second elevator to the 5th floor! After a ten hour drive home I checked my credit card and saw a charge for $201.41 from Hampton Inn Willow Grove! I booked the hotel through a 3rd part a month a go and already paid for the room thru trip.com. Shame on you Hampton corporate for not having better management and oversite over your locations! This facility is unsafe and the management and staff...
