This is being nice although long, BUT IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON HAVING A PARTY HERE PLEASE READ AT LEAST SOME! I paid close to $700 for my daughter's birthday. I was recommended to have a second party host due to the size of my party with another table we didn't need and none of the count of kids' cards were loaded before we got there leaving for 35-40 kids bored until all arrived (disorganized and ridiculous). I had to seek out my party hosts each time I needed something bc they were socializing in the front and was consistently told I can't have what I wanted which was not any absurd requests. One request was for the adults' soda (because I was paying for the adults' drink and pizza on top of the kids') at the table before the pizza came out so the adults had something to drink (PS the pizza was cold when it did come out 1+ hour later then they told me it would arrive). I was told I could buy from the bar so I went to the bar and bought my own pitchers of soda for the parents, when I got back to the table (after being ignored by the bar tender as well for 15 minutes) they bought out drinks for the adults just as I sat mine down and was walking away trying to enjoy watching what was left of my child's party with her her family and friends at the party I paid for which I felt I missed out on now looking back altogether. The party hosts was to prevent that for me and my husband. The party host (only one of them despite neither of them being available) was refunded to me along with the 2 pitchers of drinks I bought, but that did nothing to give me back my daughter's birthday expierence. I felt I missed her entire party and the parents were so annoyed that they did not even stay for the last part after cake (which I was not refunded bc I was told the points on the arcade did not expire-poor excuse). To me none of that matters considering that a) none of those parents will be returning even just to use the arcade points bc of the expierence, and b) was not refunded any of the money I spent on that portion of her party (which amounted to a significant amount of money) for the arcade and still had to provide favors for the kids, the cake, and any extras other then pizza and 2 pitchers of soda (although the say unlimited soda when you book it).
The manager I felt didn't resolve the issue as she said she spoke to the two "new" party hosts (why you would schedule two new hosts together unless that was an excuse is beyond me), but right after both dissappeared again even though I was assures one would stay as the other would get what we needed. There were no napkins or plates left, had to ask a parent for a lighter to light her candles, and had to serve everyone ourselves (all is what the purpose of the hosts were for). The one thing the host did was cut the cake and cut pieces so large they would have been for 3 adults to share. When I said something suddenly the pieces were so small it was nothing, but icing. The manager didn't even apologize, she made the teenage hosts apologize and when I went to find the manager she was sitting in the one room socializing and eating. There were parties that got there after us and left HOURS before our party which left me with angry parents and cranky kids that I couldn't even say bye to because that is when the hosts decided they wanted to talk about how they ruined my daughter's party. Not only all that, but... The go carts didn't work for my daughter as she as the b-day girl and her friends had to sit watching other kids have fun not understanding why they had to wait. The whole waste of time and other parents' time makes me sick along with how the manager handled it not to mention the money I wasted (and we live pay check to paycheck). NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! The only positive experience is the sell... The 2 girls that take you around and book your party will be great as they take the initial...
Read moreLong, but completely honest review. I'm kind of surprised by some of the other reviews that mentioned rude staff and horrible customer service, because that is the complete opposite of my experience. My 5 star review is based on the friendly, helpful staff and good customer service alone.
Went here for the first time yesterday with my 3 year old. Bought the little kid package with Lazer tag added and didn't realize I was charged for the wrong package until we got to the bounce house. We immediately went back to the counter to get it resolved, which made my kid cry because he was ready to play and just wanted to go in the bounce house. I not only received ZERO attitude from staff, but one girl behind the counter even gave my kid some gummy candies and candy necklaces to cheer him up while he was crying. Wish I asked her name to give her credit in this review. She's exactly the kind of person you want to see working at a place like this. So sweet and nice to the kids, and, genuinely seems to care about customers having a good experience. Anyway, the manager came over right away to refund me the $39 I was overcharged, and was also very pleasant.
We went on a Monday. Not only was it not crowded, but we were the only ones even there other than staff for the majority of our visit. There were only like 6 other customers there over the course of our visit, which I loved because I am not a fan of crowds. When we went to ride the carousel, the attendant said my card had no points on it. This was almost immediately after the refund and receiving new cards (one for the little kids package and,one for Lazer tag that wasn't included in package), so I assumed the card wasn't properly loaded, and another staff member took my card to the manager while the attendant let my son and I ride the carousel anyway while the card situation got straightened out. The manager came over and politely told me the points were on the other card he gave me, and that I had given the attendant the 'Lazer Tag Only' card by mistake. Oops! lol Despite my screw-up, manager and staff were friendly and polite about the situation. No rudeness or attitude at all.
My son and I were disappointed to discover 3 of the little kiddie rides were not working, which made my kid cry again. The same staff member who helped us when I thought my card wasn't working told us those rides were waiting for parts but assured us that our points and ride credits don't expire, so we could keep our card to use it for those rides on our next visit. He also gave us a complimentary ride on the adult go karts track to make up for it. Wish I remembered his name so I could give him credit because he was awesome and so helpful our entire visit.
The kiddie go kart track was perfect for my 3 year old. He loved it. Helmets were way too big for him but he didn't seem to mind. The Lazer tag and black light mini golf areas were pretty cool, and unlike what I read on another review, I didn't notice anything broken in the mini golf area. my son enjoyed that as well. He was a little too small for the Lazer tag vest, but, with the help of the Lazer tag attendant, we got the vest tightened up and adjusted so that my son could play.
Also, despite what I read on other reviews, bathrooms were perfectly clean during our visit. The whole place was pretty clean, other than a sock and hair clip in the bounce house, which had only just opened when we arrived, so honestly I'm not sure if it gets cleaned everyday, but besides those two items it didn't look dirty or like it doesn't get cleaned often.
I can definitely see how the place could get extremely expensive. Wish they sold wristbands for unlimited everything instead of packages that include one or two rounds of Lazer tag, go karts, etc. Can't say it's the best place we've been to, but it was a pretty good time overall and my experience with the staff...
Read moreThis place is rundown & needs bought out by someone that has the money to improve it. Otherwise, it’s sad & broken.
We (6 adults 20-30s) were looking for something to extend our time together after Top Golf & this seemed like a good local option.
I have a very mixed feelings about this place. It has potential but is the type of place that needs to be refurbished & rebranded. I could tell by photos it was hit or miss & it is. It kinda gives Friday Nights at Freddy’s without the robots. If you have an open-minded & fun group it works, but it’s no Dave & Busters. Keep expectations low. All in all short, I’d only recommend laser tag if there’s no better local option.
The details:
Pros: -honestly really impressed with the black light putt putt art, a lot of creativity went into that. Props to the artists! Sadly people can’t respect someone’s hard work and have broken some of it. Frankly think this art was too cool for this place. (Putt putt balls are foam btw) -laser tag was cool, with cons before though -everybody else’s go cart worked fine & the guy at the line was cool.
Cons: -it’s like a ghost town. -there were some gross things, a lot of neglect, broken equipment -was kind of expensive for what you get -the time on go carts felt too long & therefore the wait is way too long to the point I lost interest & parked mine early. My helmet kept falling off & my left steering was difficult so I’d crash in the same spot taking lefts. Once or twice was fine but after the 4th time it had gotten old. -Lights are too bright for that atmosphere. -No one was at putt-putt which was fine but we didn’t see score cards. We were kinda over it at that point though so we nonchalantly hit balls through it without really trying. Again, balls are foam so already didn’t feel the same but likely because people don’t know how to act and no one’s watching besides some cameras supposedly. There’s also other balls everywhere so we would lose ours. It was all a neglected mess. -Couldn’t find the girl running laser tag. There was a desk we waited at but she was inside & there was only an exit sign on the door. One guy’s vest broke shortly after we started. She reset it for us at least. It was also incredibly hot & humid inside to the point we all came out dehydrated. -The young girl with the fake lashes at concessions then unnecessarily sold me a bottle of water for $3 when I asked for a water. Typically that’s when you ask if they want fountain water or bottled but she only gave bottled as the option. I saw the cups after she was running my card & asked do you not have free water? She said yeah. I said I can’t get that instead? Then accused me of asking for a bottle. I never order a bottle, I know what I said, she just was unnecessarily charging me for something I didn’t want. $3 won’t kill me but I’d already spent a lot that day & I’ve worked in customer service and this wasn’t it. Especially accusing the customer and then obviously rolling her eyes even though she’s the one that messed up. She was rude as he||, not the type of attitude for a “fun center”.
After typing this, I’m reminded how crappy all of this was we just tried to make the best of it. Don’t recommend unless it gets refurbished & probably bought out for someone to come in and make needed changes. But that’s...
