I’m furious. I have been going to this salon since I was a child, and all of the stylists I have gotten my hair cut by are amazing (except for today). Unfortunately, my experience today will cause me to never go back. Recently, I’ve been going to Emilyrose, but this day Sonia was working, so I decided to go to her. It all starts on Monday when I had booked my appointment online with Sonia for the afternoon of Saturday this week. On Wednesday, I got an email that it was cancelled, but I thought it could just be a mistake. That night, I remade the same appointment, which was still available on the website, with Sonia. I didn’t get any other email saying it was cancelled, so I went in for my appointment on Saturday. To my surprise, when I told the woman at the register (Alexis) my name, time of appointment and phone number, she said I didn’t have an appointment or even an account with hair cuttery (which I do). At this point I was fed up and didn’t even bother to show her my appointment confirmation (shown in pictures). She asked if I wanted Emilyrose, and I said that I didn’t even care at this point I just wanted my hair cut. She ended up not even giving me Emilyrose and gave me Daphne. Daphne from the start was not very kind or helpful. The haircut very very rushed and the service was not worth the price. It was literally 15 minutes if that. As I sat down, I saw Sonia doing absolutely nothing but sweeping. Sonia then went to get another client that she seemed to be very familiar with and starting asking her what she wanted to do with her hair. She said she wanted to freshen it up and went to get product, leaving me to assume that my appointment was simply canceled because Sonia got a “better client”. I understand this happens, but my case was handled EXTREMLY unprofessionally. Mind you, this girl was already sitting down when I had came in and all I did was get a haircut no wash or dry. It took Daphne 15 minutes if that, and Sonia didn’t seem to be busy when I got there. Now, I don’t know the real situation, but in any case, the lack of customer service was disgusting. The service that I got from Daphne was overall negative which seems to be a similar experience shared by others throughout the reviews that I am reading. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience has completely disappointed me and I expected more. All of my past experiences I’ve had, since I was a kid, at this store have always made me come out feeling satisfied, talk very highly of the salon and have created a positive reputation for the salon and it’s stylists, but this singular experience that I had today will make me...
Read moreSharing my husband's experience. I normally don't leave bad reviews but this needs to be shared...as a Warning!!! Hair cut received was Very sloppy, completely uneven "layers" if you even want to call that layers at all..... Haircut was what I would call "Extremely Choppy". Did not listen to what she was told by any means whatsoever and they cut the hair the way they wanted to not what was told to them. Haircut requested was on completely opposite of what was requested. hairstylist needs to go back to beauty school to learn how to properly cut hair the right way. Not to mention this haircut was supposed to be for holiday photos for Christmas cards this year. Not to mention how long it took my husband to grow his hair out for this hairstyle that he wanted a specific look. Basically he received almost a buzz cut. He wanted his haircut long on top and medium length on the sides. Also now have to go to yet another salon to have them fix what this stylist completely messed up. Will be taking business elsewhere from now on. Don't waste your funds here! This was a waste of time and funds. Wish I could...
Read moreI've been coming here for two years now and have kept my hair pink until recently. Staff is welcoming and supportive. So far I have always been satisfied with results but on my last visit I left a little skeptical and I learned that my suspicions were right. A month back I asked for black and pink striped hair, it came out beautifully but I took note of what my stylist had told me: To get from blonde to black she had to fill in my hair b/c if she slapped black dye on it without filler the black would wash out and so she filled my hair before the black dye. The stripes remained a perfect shade of black. When I came back to get my entire head dyed black she did not fill my hair and as I washed my hair weekly, I noticed the hair without filler was fading to a brassy color and coating it with black dye does not help, so I did take a star back. Results are satisfactory when the stylist follows the right steps and they have never disappointed me with my haircuts, it is always exactly...
