Valdosta Cinemas — Attraction in Valdosta

Came to have a nice family night with my family. Which includes two small children 4 and 5. They wanted to come watch the dinosaurs, for a week they've been excited to come to the theater. We're 30 minutes into the movie where another family comes in and says we're in there seats, mind you another family is in our seats. The husband of the group gets mad and very rudly says don't worry ill make them move. Where I follow him out to the ticket stand. We both get our tickets out to where can address the situation. The people who were in our seats, tickets were for the show the next day. We ended up having to get out our seats and leave. Where the family had our seats got to stay even when there show date were for the next day. We spoke to the manager Jim Cody and stated that they needed to check the dates on the tickets so another situation like this doesn't happen again. He sarcastically said well if we did that we'd have a line out the door. Don't worry tho, we got a refund on our tickets and our food but had to give them the food back because they stated if we wanted a refund that they had to get it back to throw away. Me, I'm upset about the time wasted and the unorganized facility. On the other hand, I'm extremely anger that my kids had to miss out and throw away there food for they are children. And for the manager, Jim Cody, needs to take 6 years on customer service classes before handling a situation that could of easily been handled by addressing the people who needed to come back tomorrow for there show date so my kids could enjoy a family night for we...

I came to this theater in May, the opening weekend of the new Lilo and Stitch movie and the first things I noticed was how nasty the glass doors were. The popcorn station had dirty napkins, open straws, and trash everywhere. The bathrooms smelled and every surface was untidy. The seats had trash from the previous movie in it. I chopped it up to it being in the middle of the day and the theater being overrun with people excited to see movies.

I have now come for the opening weekend of the bad guys movie 2 and we are at the first showing of the day movie that just opened and I am beyond shocked. The doors are disgusting yet again. As I’m trying to order my snacks for my family the manager and employee are literally talking to each other giggling and laughing while I am trying to communicating my order. I went to the bathroom and had to go to three different stalls before I found a clean enough toilet, There was hair and dirt all over the floor. The staff was incredibly unmotivated, and unwelcoming. And I am writing this review sitting from my chair in the theater where I found trash in my cupholder and on the floor yet again.

I don’t even usually leave reviews, but I feel like something needs to be said for the staff to do better. Take pride in your business, and have your employees take pride in their job. I write this so that their is awareness and the movies can be a place that is enjoyable...

I was very disappointed in this theater.I live an hour away and I had been coming here for quite some time. I brought my kids and there friends for there 17th birthday here to see a movie and they took our money for the tickets said as long as an adult accompanied them that we could get into an "R" movie. The story changed once inside as some of us went right in the rest went to concessions. Those that went to concessions were prevented from coming in the movie by a security guard or whatever he was that decided to start checking id's 10 min before the movie started. And it didn't matter that there were several young and older adults with us because it had to be there parent...they did refund our money but we were un able to see anything because it was after 8:30 and tickets no matter if a PG or R could not be purchased without the parent being present. These rules to me are way over kill and the security guard was a very rude and had a bad attitude to say the least and the manager was not trailing to far behind that... these people have lost my buisness and that's pretty bad being I drove an hour to come here..I'm sure I'm not...
