There are simply not enough words to express how thankful I am for the furniture provided -- and I write for a living! Let me start from the outset. We were desperately wanting some decent bedroom furniture, and placed a custom order with a major chain (Crate and Barrel). The furniture from Crate and Barrel arrived after 6+ months and it was horrible -- it was almost like the wood was not finished and particle board was actually showing. Dreadful. Depressing. I cried. Really.

Came across Beauty and Bread...LOVED the pictures I saw of their furniture. Sent a note to Casey and we talked by phone that morning. He assured me that "no particle board would be harmed in the making of our furniture". Solid walnut. Custom. Communication was always fantastic and confidence was strengthened with every interaction.

Within a reasonable period, I got the call. The furniture would be arriving. Sure enough, the same care that they took throughout the process was present in who they selected to deliver the furniture -- from Washington to Phoenix. This person meticulously wrapped our furniture (two large dressers and two night stands) in moving blankets -- and took great care getting them into the house.

There they were, finally in the bedroom, cloaked in the moving blankets, ready for the great reveal. One by one, the moving blankets came off. The first - wow! The second - incredible! The third -- phenomenal! The fourth - unbelievable! Four INCREDIBLY well crafted pieces of furniture with meticulous attention to detail. Quite literally, I was speechless...and I cried. This time due to unfettered joy.

So great to see that quality furniture making is still alive and well in the USA. It might cost a bit more, but it is an investment you, your ethos and your heritage -- these are unquestionably heirloom pieces.

I found Beauty and Bread Woodshop through an Etsy posting and could immediately sense their high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. I was in search of a solid wood bed frame, with a custom design in mind; I had found a bed in their offering that was similar to what I had designed, but needed to inquire if they would be willing to make modifications to match my spec. Shortly after I reached out, I got connected with Casey (shop owner) over Etsy messenger. Once I started explaining the build, he offered to schedule a call with me to review, then we finalized all the details over email.

The final design is 100% custom and total collaborative effort. Every detail was discussed, from post diameter, rail widths, headboard size, and mailed wood finishes to review in-person. I primarily worked with Casey, but I know his team was a major part of the build, which really shines through in the quality craftsmanship.

The entire process was collaborative, simple, and the team was extremely pleasant to work with – even down to delivery day! I'm thankful that the team welcomed the challenge of a custom build and built me a one-of-a-kind heirloom piece that I'll have...

Over the phone, my gut feeling was reinforced. Casey is knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. His wife is very helpful as well. The communication from both was phenomenal, and the bed arrived when promised.

The bed is even more beautiful in person, and very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with my decision to work with Casey, Heather, and the whole team.

The delivery was just as impressive, with great attention to communication and keeping the product safe. The person who delivered my frame went above and beyond to ensure everything came in perfect condition. I can't say enough good things about this company, and the team.
