Review of just donuts: Heard this place had good donuts. We came later morning and they were all sold out except for donut holes. That seemed to be a good sign, so we opted to try the donut holes. The person at the counter wasn’t super friendly or helpful. Customer service is huge to me. Greet your customer with a smile, ask if they’ve been in before, and ask if they’d like any recommendations if it’s their first time in. There are some places I frequent that may not have 10/10 food, but if the people are friendly and make it a great experience, it makes food taste better when you like and know the people making it.
The donut holes were really disappointing. They were not light nor fluffy, but almost tasted like Hawaiian rolls that had been friend and glazed. These were oddly dense and not in the yummy cake donut way. I was expecting a raised donut texture or maybe even an old-fashioned cake donut texture and this was neither. The icing was super sweet and the donut itself didn’t have that classic, yeasty bread flavor. The oil also didn’t taste fresh. This is my biggest pet peeve with donuts. You have to use fresh oil!
One dozen of these were $2.15! Won’t be back to try more. Their salad bar did look good, so we’d maybe come back to try the food, but the donuts were a miss.
Parking is free, they take credit cards, there is plenty of seating, and they do...
Read moreIf I could give this a negative star I would. People who work here are nice. Ok now that the nice things are out of the way let’s get down to the good stuff. Me and my fiancé stopped here to get food I got the “prime rib dip” with the cheese curds and she got the “Chicken Alfredo” With the cheese curds. They make the food quick and get it out to you in a timely fashion, but as they excel in speed, they lack in quality. The prime rib was greasy enough to seep through the huge bun that it was put in.. the cheese curds were flavorless and soggy. The prime rib has a dipping sauce that was overbearing. The rib itself was dry, but greasy as hell. The Alfredo, was bland, and the chicken that they use seems to comes off of the salad bar. And all of that would’ve been fine but when I expressed how gross and how disappointed I was about my food to them. They just said OK and threw it away. Didn’t even try to rectify the situation. I am a big dude and don’t lose my appetite often but after two bites of this ungodly food. I left and didn’t eat anything or have the urge to eat anything. For the rest of the night.
I would urge anyone who reads this if you come to eat here get the salad bar and leave. Their food is extremely overpriced for the quality you get. McDonald’s is right down the road and they are 20...
Read moreI live in an area with extensive delicious food options, so I'm often disappointed with small town eateries. Glazed & Grilled exceeded all expectations. There's a variety of burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, kids options and a few other entrees. The portions are perfect for a hungry adult and the price is very reasonable. The soda machine has many varieties. The french fries are hand cut and perfectly salty and crispy, and the fry sauce is spot on for Utah. The chicken tenders are hand dipped (though the ranch served left something to be desired). The bread for the burgers and sandwiches is incredible! Everything is made to order so it takes some time but it's definitely worth it. We've tried several donut varieties and they were all delicious as well. This will definitely be the place I recommend friends and family come to if they're passing through or stopping in Vernal. Service was friendly, restaurant was decently clean and updated, and there was plenty of parking and...
