Over the holiday season our family wanted to try pickleball out. We went to Pocahontas to play and were told to pay $50 to play pickleball by an extremely rude man named Mickey. He was condescending and inappropriate to us. You could tell that he did not want our family there as we didn’t fit the mold of typical pickleball players at this location.

I’ve heard good things about pickleball but unfortunately the group at Pickle U acts elitist and exclusive and don’t take well to folks that aren’t “members”. This is not an inclusive community. Sad to see this in Vero.
